I'll give them a call I think. I teach my son to stand up to bullies, it's the only way. Some bullies you can overcome, some you can't... I bet the summonds made his day! Indeed.Fly on the wall and all that.
You are standing up to him.

And has his solicitor provided YOU with his latest salary figures? I suspect not.
It's all well and good boasting. The big man, he. But it's the black& white...in writing..what matters.
38Eur is about 32K BTW.
I would be writing to his sol asking for his income details..have you done this? Remember it's costing him money.
She said she hasn't received them yet and won't until the end of the week.
I've replied saying no. The court were given the original documents and I haven't received them back. My finances are also none of his business. I've said I fully intend to continue with the courts as we're in danger of him stopping payments at a whim. (I was a little more polite than this).0 -

She probably won't see his financial details.Nevermind the end of the week. my ex got round with not providing his financial details at all. You need to chase up the court returning your docs back.
Thought he had stopped paying completely last May.
"He's been paying £200 per calendar month for ten years up until May last year".

She's emailed back and has sent a letter to the court, saying I'm 'refusing' to send the rest of the information. I called the Remo unit in London (I'm still surprised I managed to get through!), they said all I needed to provide were balances, not statements, so they have all they need. I've emailed the solicitor to say that I'm 'unwilling to participate in his time wasting, bullying exercises' and that I'm happy to supply any additional documentation to the court should they ask for them. It's not making me look good if she's emailing the court and telling them this though.0 -
his solicitor should know better - and probably does. I would hazard a guess she's done nothing at all - other than take bullying instructions from your ex. You don't need to 'look good', he needs to pay maintenance to support his children.0

From what I gather from other solicitors (I was going to pay one to send him a letter about the maintenance but I knew it would be a waste of money as he'd ignore it. He ignores me so why should he bother?), they don't do REMO applications very often so they don't know what to do with them. I probably know more then she does now I've managed to get through to the unit! :rotfl:
I requested an interim payment so that I could buy our son some boots but there's nothing.0 -
I wouldn't count on getting any money anytime soon. There is a REMO thread on this forum if you have a search for it - it would give you an idea of what might happen next, what your timescales are etc.
Good luck!0 -

I found it and read it. Anything we do get from him is a bonus. We can live off what I have coming in but only just. The courts need to clamp down more on parents who do this, what would happen to my son if I had treated him the same as his father? He'd have been taken into care many years ago if I had.0 -

I agree with clearingout. In fact I would go so far to say it's not making her look good in the eyes of the court as it appears she doesn't know the REMO procedure.
Let him keep racking up solicitors costs. He can afford a solicitor so the court will take that into account.
Keep phoning up the unit for advice if you need to.0
