What are they doing now they finished GCSE's.

With an extra month on top of summer holidays it's too long to just chill.

What plans do yours have?

We are looking into all the options and then want to make a plan.

So far planning to look for a part time job.

Help me get the house ready for sale.

Looking at summer camps, activities.

Work experience.

You've missed out the option of playing XBox until turning virtually nocturnal, emerging from festering pit mid-afternoon to raid the fridge, mess up the kitchen and then crash on the sofa in boxers watching repeats of Top Gear on Dave :D. Or do you have a daughter?

Ha! That will be MY daughter! Boxer shorts included. The only difference is the tellybox viewing - her crap programme of choice is the various versions of 'Housewives of <<insert US state here>>' :rotfl:

Mine is not 16 for another 5 weeks but has finished her exams.. no one would consider her for a pt job as she isn't 16 yet!!

She is never in.. out with friends every day but she has a list of household jobs that are hers to do.. inc her own laundry, a few school runs, vacuuming, DW loading and whatever else she is bossed to do.

She has a 3 day welcome thing to attend at college in 2 weeks too.

She rarely watches anything on tv and is reading her way through OH's books.

That's what we were planning to do but the only person I trust to cover me is already booked the week we wanted to go :(

Mine is looking for a part time job (but as he doesn't turn 16 until the end of August I don't think employers will be keen.)

Googling new guitars for his forthcoming birthday.

Brushing up on his bass playing skills in readiness for his new guitar.

Spending lots of days at his girlfriend's house.

Any time left after that is spent as per Alikay's suggestion minus Top Gear.
