I seem to have the missed the new design too.

I am still plodding through the swing jacket I am knitting and came here to see how you are doing and you are making mead!!! Not strictly knitting :D But much more fun :D

The last week I have been learning to spin and may have the chance of an alpaca fleece to spin and then knit. I am delighted as I tend to react to sheep wool. Not sure how spinning will suit the old achey body yet. Have you tried?
business mortgage £0))''(+ Barclay's business kitchen loan £0=Total paid off was £96105 PPI claimed and received £13527

No to spinning as my right hand doesn't work properly (and I have no space for anything but a drop spindle! :rotfl:)

Okay cracking on with stuff in general, I have Kondo'ed my drawers (oooh er Missus!) and I feel better about what I am wearing, I think I need to wear a bit of make up on a daily basis though (blimey I am turning into a 1950's housewife!!)

I have nearly finished the next colour on the needlepoint (yay!) and hope to get that done this weekend, the sweater is slooooooooowly coming along as well, but the cross stitch has stalled (hmm I COULD take either one of those to the pub tomorrow and work on them there - I need to think about that! I normally take my Kindle and read).

What other news? Well the Doctor has agreed that I don't need to go to the clinic at the hospital in 2 weeks (which save Dr Witch working from home that day to take me), but I do need to "declutter" a fair few lbs off my bod before the Summer :eek::eek:

Sounds good, KW! I'm going to trust you not to turn into a 1950s housewife - we're *post* feminist, y'know - if you want to reclaim makeup as part of being a female of the species, then thats your choice :) enjoy :)

Stressful times in the Witch household (and even more importantly My Mum and Dad's household!), basically my Mum's cancer is getting worse and she has been in hospital for a fortnight (was operated on yesterday), I need to get myself in gear so that I can help if needed! (not sure WHAT help I could give being on crutches but I would sure as 'eck do my darndest!)

So I need to crack on and lose the weight, I need to lose the debt and I need to gain some skills!
