Hi I hope it is ok for me to post

Hi, of course it ok! Come in and have a cuppa! Try not to look at how much needs doing, just pick a corner and set your timer for 30min. You'll be amazed what you achieve in short bursts, without being fazed.

Well I'm still working but did put a wash on of the spare bed duvet! It looks a much nicer colour now  and is out on the whirligig in the sunshine. I've put the bedcovers in now too.

I've got all the doors and windows open and I'm freezing :p

Not heard from nursery so assuming DD isn't expiring of an ear infection yet...

    Good afternoon everyone

No point in flying indoors today as there's too much dust being generated by the workmen, so instead I've been trying to declutter some paperwork and phonecalls... with moderate success. I'll go and pull up some weeds in the garden after lunch, and we've got to finish deconstructing the fire surround and some more shelves.

Hope everyone is enjoying a sunny day. Spoons in the drawer (keeping them as dust-free as possible!) - please help yourselves if needed. BTW I was interested to see the spoon theory on the BBC News website last week.

Thank you for the welcomes just having a coffee the business accounts are two monthsbehind so I have just sorted paper work from may ready to do the books later. Ihave emptied dish washer and cleaned kitchen windowsill. I am naturally organised if left alone when you look in mywardrobe all the cloths are sorted in to tops dresses trousers skirts and thenorganised by colour but I have a husband and children that are very untidy and mess just does not bother them. I amfinding that because I work from home everyone thinks you are sat at home doing nothing so I constantlyget can you do this for me as you are at home or can I have my granddaughter somum can get collage work done. I also have 83 year old mum who dose do lots forherself but her health is not the best and she needs more and more help. I foundwhen I went out to work I would get things done when I could because I was atwork the next day but now it is too easy to think I will do that tomorrow andjust never get things done.

    Afternoon all

Quite a successful shop getting straw, Egyptian cotton sheet, school shirts and jumpers and toiletries. Washing on the line and shopping away so just having a cuppa.

Garden frogs next and a frog phone call or two.

    Cricket tonight
    Rounders tomorrow
    Uni visit thursday
    Uni visit Friday
    Cricket Saturday

Kids sure do keep you busy.

My kids hate non competitive sports day; they are sports mad and the winning is oh so important (and the loosing is very painful but just as important). DS3 will be missing his anyhow as it is his 'only child from your school' afternoon at his new school.

  • Ladies Please can I ask your personal opinion/experience. I have 5 weeks to go until my due date but this week I am feeling like I have really had enough and just want the baby out. I have not felt this way with my previous 2 and just fear that something is not right. Has anyone else experienced feelings like this, is there anything that I can do to reduce/change the way that I'm feeling. I have tried having more time to myself but this just makes things worse. Sorry about my rant and questions

Looks like I was right to be concerned about Moomin going on this trip.. They should have been there by about 12:30... and we've had no info through.. so I rang school.. they haven't heard a thing... they've had time to get to the south coast by now!!!! Anyway I text someone competent and they hit traffic, took a detour, got lost and stopped for lunch about 20 minutes ago.. surely they should let parents know this.. I am all twitchy waiting to hear she is there in one piece.. and the school are 'ringing me back' when they hear .. about 15 minutes ago!

sending gentle reassuring hugs to you MinnieMousesMummy. trouble is once unexplained worries take hold they can escalate, all i can really suggest you do is talk to your midwife and get her to offer reassurance and checks to make sure everything is as well as it can be.

pigpen, hope the school trip bus is located and gets to its proper destination soon and the school ring you back to confirm moomin is safe at at correct location

me and DH have just had a food break ive got a load of washing to hang out so will do that wash up and then need to nip shops
