Mini if you are concerned see your MW/GP. I was more desperate to get on with the delivery and stop being pregnant with DS3 than my others (although DS2 was early so never got that fed up). Can you reason why? Are you uncomfortable, impatient, excited, dreading the delivery, wanting to feel more organised/in control?

Just got to make tea for cricket and get going now. WM1 in and WM2 on the line.

Blummin' eck, I don't know where I've found this motivation from! Lounge is now spangly and kitchen is 3/4 done... although the ENORMOUS ironing pile has migrated onto my bed, so must remember to get that done before DH tries to go to sleep on it :rotfl:

Need to have a cuppa and something to eat now - I think I've done more than my doctor would strictly be happy with and now my hip is very sore, but all in all :D to be in a clean lounge for once!

Manic Monday - Kooking Kitchen and Dining Room Dalliance...

Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances
Clean oven if you didn't do it last week - don't keep putting it off!!!
    Eeking out those Extras
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Scrub down the woodwork.. skirtings, door frames etc
    • Put WM's/DW's on a 'clean' cycle.. make sure those doorseals and filters are clear.. soda crystals and white vinegar get rid of unpleasant smells and germs.. Believe me they need doing regularly!!
    • 30 minutes ironing!!!

    Hello all, just updating list............

Manic Monday - Kooking Kitchen and Dining Room Dalliance...
    30 minutes to spare
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front. Compost any manky looking veggies..we must all do our bit for the environment!
    Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round

    Eeking out those Extras
    • 30 minutes ironing!!!

Twinkling Tuesday~ Luscious Living Room, Happy Halwayl and Sunshine Stairs
    Got an hour...
Wipe light switches, sockets (make sure they are not switched on!!) and banister
Clean any other glass like mirrors, pictures etc
Tidy shoes, coats and bags .. wash any that need washing. See if there are any that don't fit, past their best or just plain uncomfy which could leave the house!

    Extra Mission:
    • Paperwork clearance.. spend 15 minutes minimum sorting through those piles of paper.
    • Get yourself a bag or box, go around collecting things that are not in the place they should be, then put them back where they should be, or better still give them to their owners to put away themselves

I guess I should go feed the marauding horde... Moomin away, Tiddles being picked up by KH at some point and DD3 not home from school yet (rehearsals for school production) Dot snoring on OH... she came in from the harden whining got on his lap ad was asleep in a second.. literally.. she must have been exhausted.. she's not staying that way long though!! Anyhoo.. just us 4 and the 2 boys to feed.. they won't go to KHs.

Anyone up for a HHC while I cook? I have laundry to fold and some to hang out the DW to empty and refill and the worktops to wipe..

I'll find OH a job or 3 too I think seeing as he is sat cuddling a sleeping baby and reading a book.. reading I ask you!! Who is allowed to do that!?

DS has completed foundation stage at swimming :T bless him! And DD new swimmies arrived this morning, I only ordered them on Sunday night! She's wearing one now - fits perfect. Hope she doesn't grow in the next 5 weeks...

Brought washing in and put swimmies in WM. Will go update my list...

Minnie, what time of year did you have your other babies? Just wondering if its the heat - we've had quite a bit of summer these last few weeks - more than I'm used to anyway...

  • Thank you to everyone for the reassuring comments/advise upon reflection I think I'm just wanting the pregnancy over and done with so that I'm not in so much pain and so that I can get on with the other things that I need to do, as at the moment I feel like I'm struggling (sinking) and normally I am someone that wants to be constantly on the go and feeling in control.

This pregnancy was also unplanned (I was on the pill and was prescribed anti-inflammatory with no mention of the counter balance) so not a happy experience right from the start so this is probably not helping matters. I think this is something that is causing other problems at the moment as well.

Anyway enough about my problems, How is everyone else, hugs to those that want/need them.

I have managed to get a reasonable amount of work done today (although not as much as I would have liked). I think I will focus on course work tonight and get an early night as I have an interview at college tomorrow. I will return later to update my list.
