Tooch I just have to or I'd go crazy. It started straight from nursery. He was fine but she refused to get in her carseat. I warned her I'd count to 3 and if I got to 3 she won't be having a treat. She didn't budge (I counted slowly, lol) so I said "fine by me, no treat" at which she began to wail, but still didn't budge. I managed to fasten her in, then DS, then I just sat in the front and said "we will stay here until that noise stops". And it kind of went from there.

When we finally did get inside, DS then cried because apparently I laughed at him??? Dunno, I was in the kitchen putting the kettle on at this point ;)

She was still screaming so I popped her under my arm and carried her up to her room. I didn't shut the door, or even the stair gate, lol, but she stayed put until I called up 5min later to see if she'd stopped :D

All was well for 10min whilst they were eating tea, then it started again over a doll. So I ran out of patience and sent them both to their own rooms...

Anyway. The little boogers. Lol. Somehow lately I've learnt to deal with but not react IYSWIM, so it doesn't stress me out really.

I've even done my HH wii fit :T

Not an ounce of flying due to the above haha except putting plates in DW, will have a shower and might do my nails.

WFH tomorrow so will get a few bits done.

    X

WTG Bossy - standing your ground now pre-empts problems later ;)

    Anyway,

What did one plate say to the other?

    Lunch is on me!

(One of the joys of working with LOs;))

have washed pots, filled DW, made tomorrow's lunch (Greek Salad - Patros feta's on offer in Morrisons atm) - had one today and enjoyed it so much. Lol I was looking forward to it since yesterday and then after work thinking how much I had enjoyed it!
Have ironed rest of molehill and filled WM with a Voldemort wash (Dark Lord/load;))

My life is one crazy rollercoaster of thrills. :rotfl:

DD was playing in the garage earlier this year, I'd been pottering and not heard her so went to see what she was up to, she was sat surrounded by books so I said "you look very busy" and she replied "I am busy. And beautiful." :rotfl:

    - removed half a home-made Contiboard fire surround which was designed to last for ever
    - made some phonecalls to tradespeople
    - gone through his quote with the electrician
    - shown an architect a dormer extension job that we want plans done for
    - made lunch and evening meal
    - emptied the DR with DH
    - taken up DR carpet, underlay, grippastrip and original lino with DH, so that the electrician can start work in there tomorrow
    - apologised to the NDNs about banging and clattering
    - done WMx4 and hung out to dry

I am now ready for bed! Night-night all... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............
  • Aw, Pigpen and Bossy - those stories are lovely. I think they call that a case of the good outweighing the bad. Treasure the moments xx

Just back from Theatre Club - 'twas a good night. We had a few of the backstage helpers watching tonight and they laughed in all the right places so, phew! Lines are about 95% known by all of us and the acting part is being honed. Bring it on! I'm so excited for next week when we perform to the audiences, I can't wait.

Head is buzzing like a buzzy thing, so I'm off to bed to read and see if I can conk out.

    Night all.

    TMD xx
