Glad to hear you had a good trip, it sounds lovely! You sould like you have a plan for this month. I guess we can't all overpay every single month, there are always going to be times when its not possible.
Keeping fingers crossed for your hubby!

Going on a worst case scenario plan would mean the full £186 for camping would be coming out of our Sept spare money.
This means we have allocated a HUGE £530 from our spare money already! Our disposable income is currently about 1050 so that leaves us with about £500
Then I need to decide on hubby's clothing spend.
We do have a chance of an additional £280 this month. Hubby will invoice a company £180 for his IT services so they will pay that if they want to use him for the next year. Then I am due £100 from work as they didn't adjust my wages when the tax code changed slightly in April. Plus maybe a little eb@y and FB selling.
My slight worry is that DD2s birthday will go over budget.
Also that we will spend more on food. We have finished our month of no supermarkets and while we didn't spend a huge deal we only bought what we needed and so as a consequence our cupboards are empty which isn't normally the case!
So £110 later and we have fully stocked cupboards! That's half out budget! I am thinking lots of nights of jacket pots or eggs on toast are in order!

Hi Diaryland.
I have been a little absent! Due to a busy week at work.
Some good news and not so good news.
Hubby didn't get the job but he isn't too worried about it as he was looking forward to the money rather than the job itself.
But I had my one year review and got another payrise  This gives me an extra £115 take home pay as of the end of September which is fab news. This covers the amount I needed to pay tax credits which puts us back where we hoped to be when my loan had gone.
My loan has now disappeared from my online Ll0yds account! So lovely not to see in there anymore!!!
Spent £37 in the gap outlet shop today on DD2. Two pairs of jeans and two tops. I am looking to sell one pair of jeans and a top to my Dad to give her for her birthday and I will give her the other set. This should sort her out for jeans for the winter. She only has one set at the moment! Also I spent a fiver on tonnes of wrapping paper from the Hallmark outlet store which saves me money.
We priced up the bits hubby wants from mandm which comes to £127 I thinks but that was for quite a lot of stuff!
Need to make a goal for September in regards to what we will pay towards our debt.
Off to Crealy adventure park tomorrow with Mr T vouchers. So just a picnic and fuel needed.
Crossed a few things off my 101 things to do list over the weekend
39 Sit out side and night and have hot chocolate with the kids
50 Do not use a supermarket for a month
84 Write all my bad memories on paper, burn this paper afterwards
95 Take the girls to Cardiff science museum
11 things done now so I am making progress!
Need to update my signature with any payments over the last month.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Just one more week and my girlies are back at school! Looking forward to getting back to normal!

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend camping OF. I wish camping was an option for us
And what fab news on the pay rise for you. Sorry to hear DH didn't get the job though
Hope you had a great time at Crealy. We haven't been there, will have to take a look.
Well done on completing some more of your 101 challenge. I have the link in my favourites to start mine when I get the time. Going to consult my DH and compile a list with him so it's not all my wants!
Hope you've had a good week and you have a fab weekend xTotal Debt at LBM - £19107.03Total now - £11091.220 -
I've been a bit MIA but am shamefully shuffling back in!
September has been a very spendy month as it is DD2s birthday and I have overspent- party due to the guilt of overspending on DD1s birthday back in Feb.
The other spendy area is the fact I have let hubby have pretty much a new wardrobe. This included a £250 next spend which I haven't paid for yet and a £90 m and m order which I have. What ever money we have left will be to through at next. If hubby gets the £180 for the website work that will cover most of it.
But next month we are going to scrimp and save to pay off as much as poss before the dreaded November and December costs!
This month has also had spends such as cubs and girl guides uniform. The only saving has been that DD2 has given up ballet which saves me £96 a term!
Dinners and lunches from stores this week. We have already spent our food budget this month!!! But a lot of that was because of last months no supermarket challenge meant we only bought what we needed and didn't keep a stock of food!
Right I am at work. I will be back on later when I can actually put some money numbers down on paper and work out where I am!
I hope everyone is well

Hi OF, just catching up with diaries and thought I would pop in and say hello!
How are things with you? Hows it been doing dinners from stores, have you come up with some imaginative meals?!
Was the £250 spend on hubbys wardrobe in Next on top of the £278 on your Next account or is that separate? I was in Next yesterday for winter jackets for the kids, and I could sooooo go mad in there spending, but I managed to refrain!
Hope you have had a good weekend, and will catch up soon!
