Also, sorry to clog up the thread... but I'm not familiar with Flickr, I can see my full name, and no my username on Flickr. Can everyone else see it? Or are you just getting my username?
How do I change it if it is showing? I'm sorry, I just can't seem to get the knack of it!0 -
Hi ladies.
Thanks, I completely agree and know exactly what you mean! I have a few like this in my stash, lots of small designs that end up making one big one, I really like stitching them.
Hello to newbies, Mrs ceejay and scotty. You're both welcome and look forward to seeing your pics
As promised, an update from me though I had to charge the camera just enough to take a pic and upload it to my pc as it was flat as a pancake
Here's where I was 3 weeks ago,
and here's where I am today,

Hi everyone,
Well I survived my week in France with the outlaws lol! A few testing moments but on the whole we had a good time - 8 adults, 8 children.
Loving all the picture updates - thank you for sharing. I'm hoping to get back into French Flower Shop this week, although I am at Thorpe Park on Monday, then working Tues, Wed and Thurs. We shall see. Quite enjoyed doing the smaller projects the other week, as it gave me a sense of achievement. Maybe I should look through my stash and see if I can have a tandem project - is that a good idea?!

Hi ladies.
Winnie. Thanks! Look forward to seeing pics of your xmas decs.
Nmm. Thanks to you too! Not an anwful lot more to go, just the colourful snowmans scarf then the black bits are santas mouth, snowmans smile, snowmans eyes and snowmans coal buttons on his front then finally all the backstitch.
On the design there's quite a few french knots in the cuff of santas hat and sleeve but I'm not going to do those, I'm going to use beads instead. Local HC have small pots for 99p but I haven't bought them yet as they do all sizes from teeny tiny to quite big and not wanting to buy the wrong size I'll take the design to the shop once done and decide the size then.
I have a couple more xmas designs in my stash that I had hoped to have ready by xmas but I have no chance at the rate at which I stitch!
I think I'll just be glad I have 1 to display this year and hope for another one next year :rotfl::heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
mrs ceejay and scotty. Hello and welcome:wave: looking forward to seeing our update photos when you can post pics
shelly. I hadn't noticed the background to your snowman and Santa before Really like the trees
coxy. I've always worked on more than one project as I like to swap about when I get a bit bored with one project. Quite a few people seem to have one big project and intersperse it with some smaller pieces like cards
coffeeandstitches. Love your anniversary piece
winniepooh. Good luck with the decorations
I plan to do some more stitching on stitchers 12days while watching the final episode of The White Queen0 -

This was one of the most time consuming sections as there were a lot of colour changes including lots of different colours of back stitch. I took this photo this morning and have already made good progress on the next section0 -
My latest update for BD, I got loads done last week and I hope to finish page 7 today.

Hi ladies,
Nnm
The !!!!! cat is just great,it looks as if it is complicated, with all the different shades of white.
I am doing two elephants (mum and baby) which has just 12 different shades of grey!not one stitch is the same next to each other. It will look great when done but not sure my eyes will last that long.
Not figured out how to down load pictures, can anybody help?0 -
