Hello ladies,
Blimey haven't you all been busy!

I'm on cross-stitch pause at the moment. I ran out of a colour and while I could continue with the other colours, I purchased a Knit & Crochet mag and have been crochet-ing my first project, which is a teddy bear with the yarn that came free with the mag.

Off to mum's at the weekend so will be taking my alternative stitching. Shall try and remember to take pictures of my latest works for you.

Well done on all the exchange pieces, they look great!

Back to normal stitching again - done 3 Christmas card exchanges - thank you for your kind words regards to the one I posted overseas - I am still waiting on one back - don't know if is a straight swap or what.

Onto the twisted band sample, part 14 done

Contains diamond eyelet stitch, should be queens but I have done ½ queens and upright cross stitches.

Coxy, I may buy some 25ct evenweave and stitch Dreams Of Atlantis. I've seen loads more wildlife pictures I want to do but feel like a change. However as Dreams is a huge piece I might have more than 1 on the go.

Have you seen the Magic Guide 25 count evenweave which is really helpful when stitching a large project like a HAED?

I was working until very late last night and so when I finally arrived home it was a real delight to be open the beautiful card from sweetcarer :j:j

I didn't have time to photograph it last night or this morning but I will do and you will all be able to admire it - it is gorgeous.

Loving all the cards that have been displayed so far and looking forward to seeing the rest before too long

Hi all

ust a quick post this morning to say thank you to FOS for my beautiful card which arrived yesterday. I will take a picture tonight and post it up. had a bit of a hectic evening yesterday with parent nights for DS2 taking DS1 to cubs and back and looking after DH who had a minor op on Wednesday - all go. My works night out tonight and after that I can start to get things ready for xmas.

Loving all the gorgeous exchange pieces. I love how they are all so different.
