Happy St Andrews day.

Was off work today for the occasion - forced leave.

Went for a wee walk to post box and posted on my wee card - was wondering if I should of went to the post office and sent it recorded or proof of posting oh well its gone now.

Was a wee bid p*ssed off. The card I made for one of my exchanges - I sent it on to America, well I posted it 5 weeks ago and was getting a wee bit upset no mention if it arrived. The organiser emailed the person I sent it to and they told her it arrived - why not say in the open forum - now I have to post a picture of it. Feel a wee bit sad, why. I am still waiting on the one coming back to me.

Not feeling too great but hey ho back to work tomorrow.

Looking forward to doing some stitching tonight and relaxing.

I'd be upset too, it only takes a few seconds to say its arrived and put the senders mind at rest. Its better to send them standard as most people are not in to sign for them, I'm sure it'll be fine

Some people can be so bl**dy thoughtless sweetcarer - they don't deserve your kindness.

sorry not been in for a few days but had to come in to say postie has just been and really cheered me up with a lovely card from maria, it really is lovely - thank you. ill post a photo later. got to head work now.



im afraid ill be a little late posting my exchange piece as i need to go to the post office to do it. im going tomorrow so it will be sent 1st class then.

So pleased you like it Coxy. Good luck with the tree decorating tonight. We are having our lounge carpet cleaned on Thursday so aiming to get the decs up maybe Sunday afternoon.

Decided I've done all the Christmas Card stitching that is going to get done for 2014 now and have got Keep Calm cushion back out.

Off to get ready now as I'm going to a nursery nativity play (friends 3yr old dgd). It has been 20 odd years since I was last at a nativity play so I'm really looking forward to it.

Love all the exchange cards so far, beg the one you did is very different I've not seen that design before. I made a post on the flickr group, I hope that was ok.

Coxy, I may buy some 25ct evenweave and stitch Dreams Of Atlantis. I've seen loads more wildlife pictures I want to do but feel like a change. However as Dreams is a huge piece I might have more than 1 on the go.

No problem with that nmm. I had a little look and I cannot see it - I'm probably looking in the wrong place :rotfl: I did see your card from Coxy though. I always forget to post on Flickr.
