    Morning guys.

Hope everyones well and wrapped up.

Have nursery xmas fair to attend this afternoon and probably pop up high street get more milk as usual.

    Hubbys working all weekend.

he had appeal yesterday he got what he wanted good reference but feels like hollow victory they dident apologise for way they behaved, how its torn our lives apart , hubby wants to move on I was hoping for more closure and think they got off too lightly.

Although im lucky hubby got job after 3weeks hes doing days, contracted for 42 hours all middle shifts so cant help out school run and afterschool clubs, low basic salary and commision means each month dont know where we are which worries me.

ahhh had to get some essentials yesterday as had run out of few things.
braved nearest aldis which hubby hates but the other one takes ages to get to. Its was really busy in there. some fab xmas stuff dident have time to browse as had 3kids and hubby with me.

did a good value shop the £3.49bottle wine is nice and aldis own10pack quavers 99p. super six was 49p got carrots and brocoli.

I picked up new offeres book and some lovely clothes and toys for kids this week so told my mam as she was wondering what to get them.

stocktaked what we had yesterday and

we have loads in freeer so much fish still as lods reduced morries fish ounter and frozen veg.

Last time i was at farmfoods splashed out or on mackies traditional vannilla icecream with 100%free its was about £3 for 2litre buts its ll natural, real milk and free range eggs.

did jelly and icecream for dessert last night kids loved it.
made up last of ceapy angel delight for hubby,
made some cherry flapjaks for snacks yesterday with free cherries picked over summer.
Did pasta bake yesetrady for lunch which hubby moaned about its his least fave dish but was quick and easy.
Last night was tired just did frozen pizza and oven chips.

not sure what to do today

defrosting some chicken goujons and fish so probably do something with those. or might make a nice soup.

I could do with meal planning but know i have least another 20nigst worth dinners its breckfasts and lunces and snacks that we get through stupidly quick.

I really need to start organising xmas ad know it will stress me.

    so have places to visit

which icerink and which santa and book that.
make list of food to buy and food to make
last year spent £200 in aldis was 3trollies full hoping be bit more thrifty this year and hope to get some good redutions.
    make presents lists for everyone.
buy cards and advent calenders soon
poundshops have loads of kids make your own xmas themed craft stuff which they love.
I need set sky box to record lots of movies for them to watch.

princess pmed you all the best charity shops locally and possible outfit ideas as im trying to revamp my wardrobe and using pinterest to give me ideas plus watching ebay. Theres few selling groups on fb that are good stokkes booty is nearest to you.

  • Morning everyone.

Finally having a sit down after a busy morning. Third load of washing on, 2 loads drying outside and in. Stripped the bedding and getting that washed too. Hoping it stays nice for a good couple of hours.

As we’re home today I’m trying very hard to get OH to give me the Christmas decs down so I can have them up by tea time. He’s having none of it - Stating that its still to early to have them up…..He cant be right can he?

Thank you for the advice about OS cloths shopping. I am still considered young, However many people tell me that I’m a older person in a young body. I cant bare the fashion nowadays. Its target is for the under 20’s!

Nutty, Glad to hear your DD is feeling better. Poor DD, She has had a tough time of it, Hasn’t she?

Fuddle, Good luck hunny! Hope everything goes smoothly!!

Shegar, POOR YOU! Hope your feeling a little better now.

  • Shergar, hugs.
Fuddle, good luck with the move.

I had to buy a new wardrobe when I came out of hospital as everything was too big to wear, even my knickers fell down.
I shopped in the local CS and in Mr T's sale, I bought 3 bras, 10 prs of knickers, 6 pairs of thick tights & 5 dresses. It's fantastic, no more decisions about what to wear every morning, I just work my way through the dresses one at a time!

Morning, I have been up only since 9. I am so tired at the moment. OH has cleaned up a little before leaving for work at 5. Only had to do the laundry and make the beds. I went to the village butchers this morning, DD asked for sausages for breakfast and a homemade chicken pie. If she requests it at least I know she will eat it. We had chips last night but she only ate a few and said she was full.

I hope fuddles move is going smoothly. I have far too much 'useful' stuff to move house ever..... infact I should do some sorting really.

princess I know exactly how you feel, I am 41, gosh it sounds old. I also find deciding what clothes suit difficult as I am a size 18 top and 14/16 bottom. Still want to loose weight - maybe we should do something in the new year as a group. We could help each other and stop me cheating!!! One of my girls offered to go to the gym with me but I wobble too much, and she is young pretty and very slim.... envious I am.....

Must sort some lunch out for OH he is home at last, DD is snoozing on the sofa. Work at 3 till late, but then I have a couple of days off again. See I took the advise and do my normal hours for a few weeks.

Will pop by later, take care everyone x

Nuttyp I'm really glad your DD is beginning to perk up. I was also concerned about the combination of symptoms you were reporting. I know we are not supposed to give medical advice on this thread but I'd be interested to know a bit more about why low BP combined with pallor and drowsiness is bad news. I have naturally low BP and so do my DDs. When I had a miscarriage and had to go in for a D&C I remember they were quite concerned about how low my BP was after the op and kept me in for 24 hours and put me on a drip. I assume in that case they were worried about internal bleeding?

Maryb I too have naturally low blood pressure. If someone's blood pressure starts to fall lower than normal for them, and it is in combination with other symptoms, one of two things could be happening. Internal bleeding which leads to loss of circulating blood volume in the body - kidneys start to fail, and a low BP is one signof that. The other possibility is an infection which is widespread and affects all the organ systems of the body, the kidneys also starting to fail. Both possibilities are quite scary. It sounds like nuttyp's daughter is picking up now, but the combination of symptoms she reported, plus the fact that things seemed to have got slightly worse over the previous 24 hours, was cause for worry. Hopefully things will improve from here for her.

It is difficult to know what to say on an online forum, not even the best doctor in the world can diagnose something without seeing and touching the patient (which is why I think the NHS Direct and NHS 111 systems are a bit of a joke in some cases) but when someone is clearly concerned about a loved one, and they report certain combinations of symptoms then alarm bells do start ringing, and the best thing anyone can so is urge that person most strongly to keep a close watch and phone for help if necessary.

Nuttyp I hope I and other people on here haven't freaked you out too much with our concerns, but I am sure you realise our intentions are well-meant. If your DD on the other hand is not well enough to go Facebook-ing, then you know something will be wrong! Hope she gets back on her feet soon.

LYN....Thanks for your very kind comforting words...xxx

And all the other posters on here that also are thinking of me, you are such a ,kind bunch of girls and I appreciate it a lot...xx

FUDDLE ....Been thinking of you a lot today , on your long journey with the girls, im hoping that by now you are getting very close to your new home , its not nice moving this time of the year, cold, dank, dark , so not nice, and the trouble is I expect you have so much going through your head while driving , not really knowing what you will expect the other end , will you have heat in the house when you get there, will you have food for the 4 of you, will you have keys to get in with , so much to think of , so heres hoping youve got there a bit earlier than you expect to , so you dont have to find the place in the dark...........Perhaps you will post to us when you get 5 mins.............Good luck...

I havent read the thread today yet properly , so after my fire is lit and the tea is eaten I will do a back read , hope you are all ok....Sheila
