Fuddle, sadly I'm not sitting on a pot of money, have ordered from a catalogue (was trying to avoid that) and will pay off as much as I can next year, one reason why I was putting it off, trying to save but something always crops up, usually car related which I have to run of course for the business.

It's always stressful moving, coupled with leaving your home county to travel so far adds to it all. Try and go with it, you wouldn't be human if you weren't apprehensive. Try not to stress about being stressed. It will all work out in the end, what's the worst that could happen? So glad your girls are excited, that's lovely. Lots to look forward to down here, and with a bit of luck, the weather should be milder! :D

Yes, a year since the multi burner had its debut! Really loving it still.
  • Wow, I’m a winter lover, But this year is chilly!

Fuddle. Glad that your move is finally arriving. Soon, You’ll have new reasons for stressing. I think moving is awful. Glad we’ve managed to stay put for the amount of time we have really. Good news that you finally got your deposit money back too. Same old thing with business, Their quick enough to take the cash, But extremely slow at giving it back. Anyway, At least that’s one more thing off your list. Hope all goes well for you & all the fuddle family x

Bit disappointed at the world of bay. I listed loads of items on there and absolutely nothing sold. I cant even say its because any of it was over priced. Because they was all 99p listings and the basic cheaper postage. It seems no one is able to afford the most basic things anymore.
I did plan to spend this weekend searching for more clutter to go on there this weekend, However, With this weeks results I don’t know whether its worth it now.

Thank you for all your replies about OS clothes shopping and the best way to start. Its something that I assumed would be easy, But, Its proving the opposite at the moment. Problem with me is, I don’t like anything that is in shops nowadays. Everything is for young people and I’m far past the stage of hot pants and mini skirts! Might spend sometime looking online as there seems to be more style choices.

Woke up this morning & have the most painful neck and back. Think the cold might be affecting more than it used too. Normally, I can wear a t-shirt in this weather (Never coats far too hot!) but atm, I’m wrapped up like a Michelin man.

Right, off to call the pharmacy. Have a great day all
    Future goals:
    Become debt free.
    Beat Depression.
    Be happy & healthy

Fuddle, good luck with the move, I appreciate how your feel as weve experienced a few things the same. See it as a new beginning , a fresh start to the new OS way of things. If you girls are so level headed its because there is a very special set of parents bringing them up to be like it. They are so well grounded as you have made them this way.

I hope you get to settle in quickly, a couple of weeks and you will be living like a local!!

Today I went into work, and my mum took DD to the doctors, and she now has an infection. So she has some antibiotics to take. Her blood pressure is low again. What does this mean?? She Is very pale too and sleepy.

Managed to get some washing done, cleaned bathroom and hovered up. Just this kitchen to clean and tea to prepare.

fuddle - honestly all four of you will be fine.
Think of it as a new start, away from the old stressful now. to the new light at the end of the tunnel, just think this time tomorrow you will be in a new house, new place to explore!

Nutty your poor DD, hope the antibiotics work.

monogran - don't know how you do it!

byatt we've had to fo that with the oven rubbish isn't it, but needs must.

Had ds2 off school today, coughing like mad, but he's okay now. So going to take him to social group, if its to much then we'll just come home.

Well i was questioned yesterday the email and i basically told them where to go and if they didn't like my explanation then tough. the chair and vice chair had a go at me and i had none of it. think i shocked them to be honest i as kept my cool and kept repeating the same sentence over and over again. Lets just say i knew the other person had been calling me as they couldn't look at me. I thought yeah look guilty, this agro and tension is caused by you being a child.
I also said i would be taking a step back as i think the group needs to change its attitude and be more responsible and less like a school-yard gang.

Thanks to you all for asking of my whereabouts , im here , just not been too well this week, Oh what again you all say...!!

Well I had my hospital appointment to see ENT dept, cut long story short , I had probes and tools stuck up my nose  which was quite painful,, dr said I need to have some stuff to douch my nose in etc, then I now have to wait for a scan of my face to be done:eek:........................

Got home as quick as I could , cos me and hubby had a dentist appointment the same day , went there and his check up went very well, YES youve guessed it mine didnt , as ive been having trouble with a sensitive tooth , so she xrayed it and said it as a hairline fracture in it , so I had a choice to have it out there and then or have a crown put in , so I ended up saying I will go for a crown , that takes 3 appointments to get it done , so she then removed the nerves:eek:, felt like the injection went up my nose:eek: .....so I now have a very sore gum around the tooth ...........Plus the nose probe and tools in my face on the same day , so im kinda what you call "down in the mouth" for a few days ............

Waiting for a appointment from a social worker to get the care home move in process , hubby is fine with it all, he knows im never well and totally understands what im up against.........

Ive promised him he will NOT go into a home until after christmas , , its just so unfair to do it before, ive promised him I will always be there for him, whatever , and he can come home here every other weekend to stay ........Im trying to make the move as comfortable as pos for him , thats why I cant rush things with him.........And I will definetely keep to my word, at least he trusts me to do what I say I will for him , such a shame but that seem to be the only solution , otherwise it will kill me if I keep up what im doing now...............................
The sea kelp I take is brilliant stuff and it gives me the energy to keep going , im sure without it id be near dead with no energy ...........Right its time to get something eat , ive just lit the fire and its so cosy and comforting.....

FUDDLE ....Good luck with you move in the morning , the girls dont mind just as long as they are with you, which is the main thing, keep us updated please .............Love to all Sheila .....
  • Good luck to the Fuddle clan for the move tomorrow. I am sure you will love living down here. Would be great to have a West country meet up when you are settled. Have a safe journey, weather looking o.k. no rain forecast. Keep your chin up lovely girl.
