gailey primark have lovely wellie socks, for a quid or two.
DD is home. and all snuggled up on the sofa with a cuddley fleece and shes watching vampire diaries. She couldn't wait to come home, we had to stop and get some tablets to help her recover.
She has requested a jacket potatoe for lunch and ice cream later.
I have tidyed up a bit, just pottering really. I am not working today now, I am going in tomorrow - think DD needs her mummy today. She may be 18 but to see her she looks about 12.
My mum has been with me on every trip with DD, OH is at work and he isn't in the area at the moment. Nan knows best, she insisted that she got sorted and they kept DD in all night and they didn't discharge her at 2am. FGS shes got an open wound and it was freezing last night. They decided to release her at 10am.
Well bathroom needs cleaning, and I could do with a relaxing shower. take care everyone xBSC member 137

well received some fantastic advice of kidcat your a star hunni!!!
spent my time being mucked about by the head of year, who stared out of the window instead of listening. Have to make an appointment next week to see learning support.
Found out no one had bothered to look at ds1's school plan as his grades are high in math and science :mad:
So i basically kicked off and demanded another email to be sent and full meeting, notes to be sent and powerpoint to be made available. Basically ds1 has detention because he didn't do his homework. which he couldn't do as a)he wasn't allowed to take notes b) he has a really poor memory (bottom 10% of the country) c) couldn't remember the main points to do with the work d) teacher hadn't given him any notes to use. So i said this was unfair and the school are failing to support him.
So roll on next week.0 -
So counselling was interesting.
I was right and a exposure was planned. It was bringing on a panic attack to assess how I cope before, during & after.
Ended up bursting into tears. Felt very stupid after though.
Glad to be making head way and starting to understand how my mind works compared to others.
I’m also being assessed for health anxiety. I would be interested to hear if anyone has it. Feel free to PM me.
Gailey, I’ve never noticed before your in Bristol, I’m on the outskirts of Bristol - Just let me know if I can help at all. xFuture goals:

Kezlou, my DD is allowed a dictaohone to record instructions on for collage - maybe your son could use one? They are about £15 but it keeps lots of recordings.
Princess, well done on the councelling, My doctor has suggested it to help with my depression, well at least discover the cause. I can list a few reasons!!
Stiltwalker - I hope spotty children 1 & 2 are ok. I haven't had chicken pox but my girls both have.
Fuddle - not long now. I hope your all ready for the move.

Just discovered why our bathroom is an arctic climate zone...the (newish, company gone out of business) DG window doesn't fit and there's a Force 9 northerly blasting right inThink some bubblewrap is needed.

Madartha, have you got some foam - we used this spray and you added a mist of water and it suddenly expands to fit. Cant for the life of me think of the name. - expansion foam I think!!
Topped up the gas and electric, heating has been on all day low. Cant get DD cold, but its un natural having the heating on all day for me. Shes just eaten a sausage roll, and still feels hungry!! I can see she will be better in no time.BSC member 137

I've seen Welly socks in our local 99pennies shop.....didn't pay much attention to them though.
As for coats, have a look on the sports direct website, they have some good deals sometimes. I have a couple of regatta coats that whilst not thick, are wind and rain proof and I can layer up underneath. They wash up well.
Went out for hot choccy powder and caustic soda and spent £92! It's all food stuffs in varying forms, mostly tins and packs on offer and I did manage to get parsnips in the YS section for 30p a kilo......I got 6 kilosguess what I'll be peeling and chopping this afternoon!
Pooky you made me chuckle.
This is often what I do when go on foodshop.
I think cold snaps made me subconciously buy more like to be prepared have cupboard full on tins and freezer full of food.
Plus got a veg rack full of veg as anaged to get bags onions reduced at 25p each bag in spar other week.
Also the sudden panic about winter ie clothing.
I cant work out if my anxiety is typical old styler being prepared for bad weather or may not have much money that month or im truly going mad and will end up on one of those hoarding programmes.
Thanks about welly tips primarnie as sounds better is down city centre and its a huge one so prefer to go minus the kids hence wy dont go city centre that often but its better than the mall(cribbs).

Princess, please forgive my ignorance, but wouldn't worrying about the possibility of an "exposure" be a contributory factor to any anxiety and be more stressful for you?0 -
Thank you nutty, I would suggest it. Although its difficult opening up about depression / anxiety / mental health in general its amazing how they assist you in looking at anything differently.
Floss. I am a typical worrier in any & every sense of the word.
I find something to worry about all the time, Hence my anxiety. I have also been in situations where I haven’t panicked or worried and feel been caught out. It does affect my stress and anxiety hence why I am at counselling trying to rewrite my way of thinking.
This is one of the main things I need assistance with. A lot is also connected with depression too. So, I’m told xx
Gailey. I’m a Londoner. I moved to Bristol about 7 years ago when I met my partner (A bristolian) and its strange because I’m more in the know about the local area then he is. I suppose its different when you move somewhere, Your more inclined to learn.
I have sent you a PM too.Future goals:
Become debt free.
