Mar - are you talking about the little low-carb ham and egg things? If so they need to be made in the deep hole tin, not the flat one that Fuddle linked to (which would be perfect for little quiches), otherwise the egg will run everywhere  when you fill them.Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures0
-
Alternative idea for low carb quiches not needing tins is to get a largish butternut squash and cut 1/2" slices peel them and roast them with a spray of oil for about 15 minutes then turn them over and wrap a rasher of bacon round the outside of the slice and pin it with a coctail stick so it stays upright, then break in an egg and pop it back in the oven until the bacon is cooked and the egg is set by which time the squash will be cooked through. For these you only need a baking tray!!! Cheers Lyn xxx.0

I manage ok in those tins with runny egg. They are shallow but because they have a larger surface area you still get a good quiche out of them. I just use what I have and those tins are good, non stick all-rounders. Apologies if they weren't right for the purpose that they were intended and I've misunderstood.
Can I ask a couple of questions about homemade rice pudding?
Would arborio rice be ok to use. I have some that needs using up. I'll be using the slow cooker.
Also what are the refrigeration rules with rice. I'm aware you have to be very careful but can't remember what is the correct way.
Ginger cordial is ok. It needs more ginger for my liking but will suffice quite nicely. Off out later to get more elderflower for the next batch.
Making potato salad again. Using up my potatoes so will be stored in fridge for packed lunches/side dishes and snacking.
Looks like I will be in good company paying ovver 12 months then
Thanks for help.0 -

Now Mrs L - it's me yer talking to - dinny get fancy with butternut squashes cos I dono what hell they are and I don't want to
I haven't got any kind of baking tray and have never made yorkshire puddings.
Deep fill muffin trays is/are the way forward here I think0 -
FUDDLE I've used long grain rice as well in the past when I've not had proper pudding rice in stock. Arborio will work perfectly well for rice pudding, the only rice I think might taste different sweet is Basmati as it has a definate taste of its own. Cooked rice keeps OK in the fridge for 24 hours. I think if you keep it longer it can develope a tummy bug organism, not sure wht it is though. Rice pudding can get popped into the freezer in spearate portions if you want to extend the 'shelf life' and defrosts perfectly OK although it might be a little more watery on defrosting, still tastes OK though! Cheers Lyn xxx.
Sorry MAR, I should have known better shouldn't I? Lyn xxx. (at least the kale wasn't in it though!!!).0 -

aaaaah but guess what i'll be doing with my butter nut squash case next week. I used to try peel those you know. I know!
Really hard outer case Mar, but the veg inside is palatable to the sproglets so might be a go-er for you.
Missed about solar panels... what are you doing with solar panels folks?0 -
