Such a cutie, Pooky! I'll be sure to leave your blog up when he comes up and wants on the laptop to check the sport! I hadn't looked at your blog before. What a lovely, warm and welcoming looking home! The blanket looks fab!0

GOOD MORNING, well ive popped into work. It seams that work collegue has been given the statements we all wrote last week, and she has complained mainly about mine as I was offended by her encouraging certain men to come into the shop and she had often taken them home with her. I also mentioned about her drinking and she strongly denies any of it. Well 3 of us at work cant be wrong, we have contacted the person who is dealing with it, and he assures us it will be dealt with correctly.
Im totally exhausted, I am dreading work this week. I am worried how this will end, as we have all told the truth, but what lies will be told as excuses. She even claims she is suicidal by the comments.
Icalled in mr s and got a few of there basic range items, they make good store cupboard items. Spent £9 on some baking bits ready for doing weekly cakes.
Right must get some cleaning done, and then start the cold tea loaf and a treacle loaf too. take care everyone xBSC member 137

Nutty whatever happens it's nothing at all to do with you. She has the choice to work by the rules in her contract... Or to not. She has the choice to lay blame with every one else... Or herself. She has the choice if how to move on from this... Or choose not to move on at all.
Her choice is limited if she is addicted to the alcohol completely - the alcohol will make er choices for her but that's for her to deal with and the under pinning of all her actions.
Do not allow anything other than 'I have done my job, looked after my colleagues and made sure the work place is safe for everyone using it' she needs to take responsibility now, not you xx0 -
I agree, I know it's easier said than done Nutty but you all had no choice but to stop a dangerous situation, and her lying about it does not make you in any way responsible.
Brr, it's certainly got a lot colder here and we had the heating on for a couple of hours this morning. As I had to collect a prescription I popped in to Morrisons and as well as the £3 turkey legs they still have, there are pork joints marked down to half price and also very cheap chickens for £2.60-ish (not happy chicken of course for that price). Must say I've shopped in Morries a bit more recently as they seem to have some very good offers on. We did a couple of turkey legs yesterday as there were 6 of us but we only needed one so there rest will make a few more meals. The bones also made a lovely turkey soup in the slow cooker. A £3 joint to feed 6 easily can't be bad.0 -

First shift at work after 6 weeks sick leave about to start, sitting in my car pysycing my self up.
My new 10 hour contract starts this week, money will be tight but it's right for us at this point.

Hi Cornish chick, hope all goes well at work. Bloomin IBS makes itself known on days like this doesnt it? With all you tackle in life, this will be a doddle its just getting in there thats hard but Im guessing you have done it by now - sending hugs.Clearing the junk to travel light
Saving every single penny.
I will get my caravan0 -
Cornishchick, ((hugs)), go in there and be brave, thinking of you!
Nuttyp, can only repeat what the others have said, she has put herself and her job at risk, if nothing else, and you and your colleagues owe to her and yourselves to sort the situation once and for all, before something dreadful happens! ((Hugs)) to you, too. Alcohol poisons everything it touches, when it gets its claws into a person.
Frosty start here today, managed to find the woollies straight away for once! DS21 in the bad books - I had the heating on for a spell when we got up, told him not to put on again (he didn't start until later today), came home to find it on full blast!!:eek: Methinks his board may go up before long! :rotfl:
Got a load of chicken legs and thighs to do for tea, with some wintery veg, LO chicken can go into a pasta bake tomorrow, and will boil the bones for some stock to freeze - love cold weather meals!
DD being picked up from nursery by a friend, staying for lunch and until I get DS from school, then will swap with friend later in the week - gives us one school day child-free each. Love my littlies to bits, and am staying a SAHM for the foreseeable, but it will be nice to just have that one day to finish a job instead of breaking off at lunchtime.
Hugs and cuppas, or chocolate, to the poorlies or CBA today.

Well I was just waiting for the cakes to finish cooking in the oven and the gas engineer came to do the LA gas checks. He decided to call by as he know I work odd shifts, and its a rare to catch me in!! All ok. He commented on how nice the house was, and the lovely smell from the oven of a lemon curd cake cooking.... see old style is good.
You cant beat the smell of home cooking, and to make sure the hall looks good its in magnolia and easy to touch up any marked walls. Cheap and cheerful again.
Have just been sorting out what I have picked up on ebay for Christmas, not much left to find. I always buy 1 gift new, but the majority are second hand. Youngest DD has a ted baker handbag, she will be amazed - but its another of my bargains!!!
Right must get vegetable s sorted for tea, xBSC member 137
