    Morning Everyone!

Glorious sunny weather here at then mo - not looking forward to the low heading our way though!

Kate - have you thought about printing your logo onto fabric - I know you can get sheets that go into your printerm, some onto a film that you iron on, some onto a sheet that has a fabric on it - lots of ideas here - you might find the papers cheaper in The Works, Mr T, Wilcos etc (I'm always looking out for cheap stuff to use in projects).

And no, you are not bad for not wanting to have your friend plus one descend on you, you have enough on your plate without more to cause grief!

OH told me this morning he has booked us a couple of nghts away in November, now we are sans cat, we can do it. He got a special offer from Guardian for stays at Sawday recommended places, so we get to stay in a converted gypsy caravan for £75. I love things like that, glamping, vintage caravans, anything a bit quirky, and having had a look at the pictures, it is certainly that! In a field that looks out over the Black Mountains, the pictures from summer look lovely, but not sure how November will be, especially if it keeps raining! It's a lovely thought though, and most unlike him, he is not very good at being a) romantic or b) inventive, so this was a nice surprise!

We will get petrol paid part way there as we have a RVS meeting we need to attend on the morning we go, and it's on the way. And on the way back we can go to the wetlands centre al Llanelli, which we have wanted to do for a while, hopefully it will be full of migrants by then.

And we have a day to explore around Hay, never been so that will be interesting.

Have a good rest of the day everyone, and hugs for all!

Something I can do at 9.00am every morning. So...............any suggestions???? My energy is limited and finances are also a consideration!!

Open the door, take a deep breath of fresh air, tell yourself you are lucky to be alive and then smile. When I'm feeling grumpy and miserable I try and remember the things I'm lucky to have. Being alive is one of them, no matter what rubbish is flying around at the time.

Come back indoors and post good morning to your friends on here :)

    Hi Debbie - some ideas

Meditate for half an hour - sounds hippy dippy, but meditation is good for you, calms you right down. lots of free meditation stuff on net.

Learn some form of relaxing exercise - Yoga, pilates, or whatever floats your boat, again everything you need is on the web for free.

Can you draw/paint? spend some time each day doing something artistic, whatever medium suits you best.

Hope you find lots more, I'm sure you will get lots of ideas here.

    Hi All,
The garden is coming on leaps and bounds(but come to a halt)until Sunday, he needs his better lawn mower back and moss in the garden needs to dry out.

The person from the Housing Association came out(my friend McCulloch29 gave me a bit of a different viewpoint on the two that called(same as the time they went on about the clearing of my house)but again he took as an excuse to look around the house...again. So much for leaving it until next year.

Now he may be coming out to see all is well regarding the drain problem/neighbours but he's talking about coming again in November:mad:what's the betting he want's a tour of the house...again! As my friend says they may be watching out for my well being but I do wonder if there is an underlying reason.

He mentioned the house was cold(ish)I forgot the doors were open for the gardener and the thermometer is next to the front door so what do they expect? Remind me to mention that was why the house was cold next time he comes. I'm £450 in credit with the utility company so can afford to use it during the Winter(having saved during the Summer)

I'm in credit with the rent until January(he wanted to give me a refund)but it will reduce soon enough and I am not paying rent/water at present so that's like getting the money back each week anyhow.

If I feel there is a rabbit off I'll maybe contact my MP again. I pulled out of doing so the last time.

Always glad to see the back of them.

    Me again Debbie -

Just found this, not exactly what you have been asked for, but might give you a bit of help with why it is important to have change in our lives.

Mrs Chip when my Mum was put on HRT she was taught something like relaxation/meditation and to breathe very deeply and slowly. It did work especially if you were worked up or had anxiety.

Good idea The Cake, about music and radio listening(I thought the last Desert Island Discs was so interesting)

Meditation can take many forms --- cloud watching is one. I love that. And lying on the floor listening to loud music is another way.
MrsC I would like a bargain break, where do you find stuff like that?

I did originally think of the iron on stuff TBH, I bought some ages ago, but when it's ironed on it's really shiny and plasticey (came from wilko) doesn't say it's super shiny on the packet, I don't know if anyone else does one that is matt...I'll have a look online. I want them to look hand crafted, but not take forever if that makes sense. I don't think I can sell them for more than £4/5 quid tops. I just don't think anyone will pay that for a shopping bag locally. My first batch were lined, but I'm using the overlocker for these and they won't be, so the little bit of craft work makes up the difference.

Friend is very needy, she'll need more than Mard's hour a day that's for sure! Will do my level best to deter her.

Great fun to be had Glamping, there are some fab sites about, one of my friends in Pembs works for a company that have glamping, gypsy caravans, showman's wagons and yurts on the books. Most of them have little log burners so you should be nice and toasty!

Right, this stuff is called Photo Fabric. It is 6 sheets of paper-backed white cotton poplin 8.5" x11". You print on, peel off the backing then sew it on.

You are welcome to have a packet, will swap for a pasty ot two!
