well came home after my luxury break, only spent £30 on a few drinks in the bar and snacks for hubby so not bad, the rest was covered in the voucher.
Felt reenergised on Sunday, wrote a long to do list, including winter prep, sat down for a cuppa and my get up and go disappeared. So if you see it please post it back.:p
Mrs LW can I have some custard please, I will share my fruit cake , I WILL be making, as son as my get up and go comes back.
Just popped to my local butchers for mince, normally frozen 2kg for 7 pound, today. Brought 4kg unfrozen freshly minced as they haven't had time to restock their freezer for the amazing sum of 12 quid.. that's half the price per kilo the Sm charge. So get to bag it up and try and freeze it flat.
Pic. Best stress buster that an aunt shared with me.Draw a circle. On a wall, place forehead on wall draw head back then forward, to make contact with wall... repeat. ..:rotfl:

Ditto what MrLW says Nuttyp, we are with you in spirit. I will try not to swear too much when Im stood next to you xxxx

Thank you all yet again for your support and advice. E mailed my Mp, Sir Gerald Kaufman for a bit of back-up in advance, certainly can't hurt then I will ring. Sir Gerrys office is very quick replying and after all Ive done my bit for them so its their turn now.

Talking of swearing the air is blue here, hubby is trying to get through to motability car insurance as some one - looks like a white van  - has generously slid along the side of our car leaving a wide white and yellow mark from back to middle on the passenger side. Problem is its one of those press buttons, wait in a queue, sing along with the boring music type of call. :jhe got through!

Nutty - I will be here thinking of you tomorrow, and hoping all the fires of hell rain down on your bosses! Can you picture us all sat at computers tomorrow night sending our thoughts??

Ginny - Oh that is so wrong, why cant people be honest and admit they have done damage, it makes me so cross.

Well its all done and settled, two weeks today I am setting off with three kids on holidays, OH isnt happy but there is really no way around it, he doesnt have the holidays and DD cant be off Uni. I am rather apprehensive at the idea of being solely responsible for a 4.5hr drive, (in reality I would have driven the whole way anyway as OH gets too stressed) but I am looking forward to the break :)

    Afternoon All

Day three of our holiday, and we have had three days of warm sunshine, which is a big bonus, last two hols here we have had a week of rain and howling gales .

Not doing a lot, which was the plan.. Cat having a lovely time, tottering about outside with the farm cats.

Going to Paul Ainsworth's restaurant in Padstow for lunch tomorrow. They do a very reasonable set lunch, and the food is lovely.

Nutty - will be thinking about you tomorrow - I hope you have been able to tell them how many hours you were working, and the stress you were under working with the person with a drink problem. As your employers, they have a responsibility to you which it sounds like they were failing in.

Ginny - Oh I would be raving!

Kidcat - You will be fine, just take your time and try to bone up on the route beforehand, I don't trust satnavs!

I have been playing with Facebook, so any of you get a friend request from a cat called George, it's me... :D

Hugs to all who need them, it seems tough times are still with us!

Well im still here trying be positive.

but rang tax credits 5 times got cut off after going through their long complex menu all i wanted to do to speak to someone human 6th times a charm at 2 weeks since form sent back unlikly could be next week could be this week or could be longer, they will write to me, cant tell me where I am or ammend fact hubby now has a job intil the original claim was processed. As job commison based need to estimate average commision which guess will bump up salary and mean we entitled to less so better guess right-helpfully he said keep checking back account and hoping.

Spoke to friend whos husband has been jsa shes summising he get paid rest this week but thats a guess who knows know ones told us anything official-we live in hope.

Hubby rang said new jobs ok but hes made a huge mistake.
he rang housing to ask where were on claim and inform them hes not got a job they suspended out claim as were going to start paying next monday. also contract said 630 original rent 2005 they want proof of rental amounts from agent its now 700 as flipping bank statements were not enough.

They said have to go council offices 1 is 4 miles away other is miles hubby cant go as ehs working in week outside the city and they not open weekends so i have to fork out £4 for bus just to get there and the delay could cause weeks!

The whole things stressing and depressing me feels so hopless.

tax credits kept me on phone so long dident realise the time.

was 10mins late preschool had to run.

    4year olds well grumpy tonight

black clouds looming got 1 load laundry need to get in soon.
casserole in oven precooked lamb earlier just chucked int into dish with reduced bean mix, packet mix, stock cube and some potatoes hopefully be tasty.

    need to run hoover round.
    clean bathroom,

    make flapjacks

try and feel like achieved something positive and productive today.

need to write new plan list although sadly dont think it stretch to 30-50 meals so well done pooky..

it turns out eldests freinds mum gave her bag of pasta for harvest today as he brought 2 as eldest typically dident bring home letter and couldent find anything on school website so owe her something did say bring bag pasta she said no so might give half the flapjacks to her.
defrosted some cherries picked over summer to make cherry flapjacks and brought new bag sugar this morning.

Good luck kidcat im sure you be fine you need a holiday.
people take the or granted when they can afford them but little change of scene do you all good.

Going to try be happy when hubby comes home as 1st day new job something positive just got bit emotional earler as feels like we all by ourselves that the safety nets failing us.

I keep repeating myself try best worry about thngs that are within my control like cooking, cleaning, shopping, homework, making sure kids are happy and healthy, their smiling faces make me happy.

Might run bath early night try cheer myself up a bit combined with browsing nice stuff on pinterest

On plus side hubby has next 4 weekends off very odd in retail so making list of cheap free local places/activities to do as family as getting out the house lifts my mood. have gps appointment on 16th.

Thinking we due some good luck soon as had enough bad and as my nana said plenty people worse off than me just the stress weighs me down some days.

Not sure what time hubbys home but aim is get dinner on table , house tidy and kids in pjs. today has just flown by as school runs and church tied me up least 3half hours of my day.

Told eldest cant afford school dinners at all this week as as that,s could be spent on on milk, eggs and can make something nice for lunchbox instead feel guilty as know she loves a hot meal but somethings gotta give this week as need what we have left just pay petrol for work.

Gailey all our local schools are supporting food banks this year so the bag of pasta would be ideal. Also would you be eligible to get a little help from food bank until you are sorted?

    GAILEY,

keep going honey, will keep you in my prayers, hope the hubby's job goes OK and the benefits get sorted out. One day it will be easier for you, you just have to do what you can to get through the now.

You are amazing, you are still going strong and still trying to keep positive, I think I would have gone to bed and just pulled the covers over me! LOL.
