Gawd you should've married my RV katie. He fusses and prinks and changes and fusses some more and ticks my clothes off on a clipboard before I leave the house!!
Sorry not been here today - elder son (the one who didn't cut his fingers off in a bandsaw) was rushed to hospital at midnight with a suspected heart attack or stroke. Severe chest pain and had pins & needles in left arm, hand, neck, and head...was on gas & air and out of it. We arrived at hosp this morning and he was waiting to go for a brain scan....... Long horrible wait later we found it was a rare reaction to medication he is on for nerve pain in his feet!! He got home.
I think the sons are trying to drive us mad. it's working.
  • Oh Mar what a dreadful shock for you both, pleased he is recovering.

You never stop worrying about your children do you, but at least when they are little you can usually make everything OK, the problems are so much bigger when they are older.

Hugs to you and the RV

Wow Mar, if ever there was a need for sweeties. Can I just check, do you have any more sons hidden away? Cos if you do I'm sending you some emergency jelly babies.

Oh Mar - how worrying for you! Hope he's ok.

My DH doesn't get chance to go out looking scruffy cos I have to help him dress so I get to pick what goes on! The advantage of him being so immobile too is that he's not needed any new shoes for years as they just don't get enough wear to wear out.

I'm fighting "the cold", I wouldn't allow myself to be ill before today as I had the family round but now it can do its worst...(although I really, really don't want it thank you)

Made a gorgeous roasted veg soup for lunch today but as some family members won't eat chunky soups I blitzed it and sieved it to make a very silky smooth soup (was lovely) with the added bonus of having a huge pot of "mush" that I can use for something else......I'm thinking of using it between pasta layers in a lasagne......a double duty soup!

Blimey how horrible Mar. I'm glad it was nothing 'serious' I know a bad reaction is serious, but it's not a heart attack IYSWIM! Side effects of some stuff are horrendous!
