Is that a Girl called Jack, I googled the recipe LOL?

I'd cut to the chase with that hon, add an Egg and if it makes it a bit wet bung in a tablespoon or so of porridge oats. I think you will find that solves it. They sound nommy though. Will give them a go myself.

  • Well done PX87 sending hugs.

I used to suffer panic attacks, brought on by stress at work, and eventually I managed to talk myself out of them, but when they first started it was very frightening and I didn't understand what was happening.

    Well done you

  • To me, It feels like my heart is going to give out. Its horrid! I dont have the energy to feel like i've done well enough by going out on my own - But i'm still in the early stages of baby-steps. I'm totally grateful having you lot in my life. xx

  • One step at a time, you will get there eventually, but you can't rush it. I know you feel totally drained afterwards, but later tonight when you are calmer you can think about what you achieved, and be proud of yourself.

    RANT ALERT!

I get back from town and OH tells me he's going off to look at this job with DS's boss at 5.30
He's sort of changed and is standing there in his coat with his crocs (paint spattered crocs) on, so I say you aren't wearing those out are you? He says "Yes, why can't I wear these?"
and I say you just can't, you cant wear crocs to go quote
so he goes and changes for a pair of work boots one of which is SPLIT in three places, showing his socks....
    and I say...You can't wear those either!
    "Why not???" he says.
Me, " Well it doesn't create a very good first impression does it?
Who are you going to give the work to? The guy who turns up looking tidy? or the guy who turns up looking like a tramp!!! Have you not got other boots?"
    "No!"
"Well go and put ordinary shoes on..."which he did, but they were still covered in dust, and he had to be told to wipe them down. FML! He's SIXTY FOUR YEARS OLD. He's been doing this for 30 years and I have not managed to instil in him one single bit of business sense in all that freaking time! Is it just me??? Sometimes I think it is? Because everything he does these days winds me up to the point of distraction! What would you think if an elderly hobo showed up to quote for an expensive job?

Takes two aspirin and goes to lie in darkened room!

  • HAHA, Katieowl, That made me chuckle I think thats men for you. My OH believes it's fine to walk around in holey / dirty work clothes.

Me 'What are those stains on the front of your sweatshirt?'
OH ' Dunno, red wine I think'
Me ' Are you going out in it?'
    OH 'Yes why?'
    Me 'You need to change'
    OH 'Why?'
Me 'Because you are going out to do a driving job'
    OH 'So?'
ME 'You look like a tramp, it's not acceptable'
OH 'No one will be looking at me'

And therein lies the problem - most men think that the whole of humanity walks around taking no notice of anyone else, whereas at least 50% (females) clock the minutest of details at 40 paces!
Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures
