Well done Mr Gailey! Clever boy!
I seem to have spent a fortune today, DD1 picked a sensible coat though and sensible boots! I got boots for DD2 too and new slippers for everyone. My hair dryer went fizz, fizz bang this morning with a puff of smoke too so another expense!
My dehumidifier arrived yesterday and I plugged it in for 2 hours to see what it was like...got just over half a pint of water out of it!!!!! I was shocked as we don't get condensation. I got it mainly to help dry the washing and help take the moisture out of the bathroom after we'ved showered. Its only around 4.5p an hour to run but I will only have it on during the day and our solar panels will provide most if not all of that cost"Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. Welcome Burtha!!
Congratulations Mr Gailey.
Happy to hear of some good news.
Nuttyp Welcome back!
OH has just gone back to work for all of 10 minutes. He came home from Lunch a very happy bunny (Pretty sure he‘s after something…Cough…New GTA game) But I’m trying to hold out because its our birthdays in three weeks therefore I need something to buy him.
He’s asked me if he can have some money out of his wages lol for my present. I’m not someone who likes the fuss. Hate opening presents ect - But make a huge deal out of it for others. Properly why we’re in so much debt, But I like spoiling my OH on special occasions because I cant afford it do it any other time.
OH had some bad news today which is straining his relationship with his parents. He’s brother who’s a year younger than OH has been arrested. OH parents have had their home invaded by police at 1am this morning. He’s forever getting into trouble. Always hitting his mum ect, So personally I cant understand why its such a shock.
However, That’s queue for MIL & FIL to take their anger out on OH. Saying how its OH fault for not supporting his brother! Makes me mad, Because no one in their right mind would support a sibling for what he’s done.
Sorry, That’s my rant for today…..Future goals:
Become debt free.
Beat Depression.
Be happy & healthy0 -
It was suggested for me that i got in contact with a company called STEP CHANGE.
For me it was the best thing i've ever done. They have loads of support & advice about entitlements & debt plans. Maybe worth a look?? xFuture goals:

PX87 what is said in the heat of the moment isn't necessarily what is actually felt towards the person it's being said to! I expect your poor OHs parents were so up tight about his brother and the trouble surrounding that event that they said things they didn't mean because they were totally stressed out and he was the only one there who could take the flack. I'm sure if they'd not been on the ceiling angry and worried it would never have been said so don't dwell too much on it lovie, I shouldn't think it's what they actually feel at all, Hugs Lyn xxx.0

Gailey well done. You are doing it and it's hard but you are doing it.
That's my philosophy today its not about the struggle it's about the success.
Nutty hugs do hope it gets sorted soon.
Pooky well done on getting dd into a sensible coat.
I have achieved so much more than planned today. Ok I haven't been in at all no dinner ready and house looks like two bombs hit it. But I got all kids into school etc on time ish. Spoke to mechanic over car, got call that ds9 broke his glasses so dropped ds15 at his unit scooped up broken glasses took them into town for repair then back to drop them off. Then pick up ds15 for his appointment. Got there and waited to be seen for half an hour and she thinks his back is muscular but his chest xray is back and shows his rib cage is malformed. She said they were saying it was birth defect but she doesn't agree as it would have been noticed well before now. So we are being referred to paediatrician again.
Picked up dd18 on way past and dropped ds15 back at his unit. Drove over to next town to collect his prescription for anxiety and took it to hospital to be filled. Closed for lunch so dd and I headed back, did the shopping and then went to ds9 assembly. Back to collect ds15 and over to hospital again for meds.
Got back into town just in time for school pick ups.
So I decided to take kids out to eat as I have no energy to cook and to be honest I think we all deserve a break tonight. Oh is working tomorrow so witb car repair and dance class etc its going to be mega busy again. Dd18 is going out too so wont have her to help mind kids.0 -
