    Morning all

Elona - hope DHs treatment goes well x

Gorgeous blue skies here this morning, fairly mild too by the feel of it (back door is wide open whilst we breakfast) WM is on and hopefully I can get it all line dried today.

Went to the cinema with a friend yesterday, saw the new Richard Curtis film, it's lovely, a really nice heart warming film (bit of a tear jerker too so take tissues is you're going). I would really recommend it.

Trying out a f@rmf00ds turkey crown for lunch today, I buy mine from the butchers for Christmas but its getting to be silly money now and I need to try some alternatives. I cooked this one yesterday and it's got a lovely flavour, but is slightly dry. I'm sure gravy and roast potatoes will improve it greatly. There's tons there's too so will make for plenty of meals this week. Butchers one of the same weight is around £35, this one was £9. Got to be worth a go.

Mar that doesn't sound right. It's being prolonged beyond reason now. How niave of me to think that the general populous is operated on quickly in an emergency. Keep us posted. It would be better for everyone if the healing process can actually begin huh Mar?

I would like to ask you what you all think about coffee? You know I'm a bit unstable. Anxiety, depressive tendancies, overactive thoughts and my need to be prepared and organised for everything eventuality that I can think of? Well that's me in a nutshell and I don't medicate for any of it just my dietry supplements. Normally I'm ok, a bit stressy at time but alright and functioning quite happily. Remember I said I was enjoying a few cups of coffee a day over the holidays? Well these past two days of getting ready for school I have been very frantic and almost manic, fuelled by the need to get to school all present and correct, neat tidy and organised... and get there early. I caught glimpses of the girls' faces as I was reaming fast instructions and knew I wasn't behaving right but couldn't stop it. I've home 45 minutes and still shaking. I'm having a camomile tea but feel like I could sleep.

I haven't noticed coffee effecting me at all over the holidays but I haven't needed be any where really. Do you think it could be the coffee making me over react? I can't pinpoint anything else that would get me so off balance.
Hi, I do know that any kind of food or drink that causes chemical
changes in me (alcohol, painkillers, etc.) has a fairly powerful effect on me anyway, but adding my medication into the mix at least doubles the effect. I know of friends who found they doubled up the power of alcohol when on antidepressants. So if you are susceptible (Sp?) maybe you're increasing the coffee's power. another thought, I've always found instant coffee, however good the quality, has an adverse effect on me including directly causing acne, moving over to real ground coffee has eradicated that, and makes me less "pingy" when on meds.

Thank you Topher. I no longer have a coffee when I'm doing the school run and have had no more episodes like that. I don't drink coke or coffee, energy drinks or very much in the way of alcohol so I would guess my body isn't used to 'foreign hits' if you see what I mean, plus having all the anxiety baggage... thanks for taking the time to respond :)

Yuk what a day. DH was up at the crack of dawn, opened the curtains and in came beaming red sky - red sky in morn, shepherds warn.

Candle wax? Is it a feasible idea to scrape out all the left over wax from my candles, melt and reset with a new wick?

Chicken sandwiches for our tea tonight with flapjack and custard for afters. Going to SC it so will fall off the bone :)

Kelp - I curse it! :rotfl: Instead of having a relaxing Saturday evening yesterday, I was cleaning my oven at 9PM  I'm still loving how it gets me up early because it means I am tired come 10pm and drop right off to sleep. I don't especially think I need kelp but I do think of it as a motivator and being motivated means I'm always busier and that has a positive effect on my inner head health ;)

Glucosamine? Is it likely to help creaking knee joints. One major concern for me at the moment, especially as I can't retire till at least 68 and wanting to go into home caring, is arthritis. My creaking knees are scaring at 34. My grandma had Osteoarthritis and pretty badly in her old age. We lost her at 72 and my Aunty died having battled crippling rheumatoid arthritis for 18 years at 60. Is arthritis hereditary? There's no sign of my mam having either it at age 57

Jem write the company a letter informing them that they need to correct his credit files of their error. Tell them failure to do so will result in you writing to the Information Commissioner to report them. The ICO will investigate if they don't update the error. ICO suggest telling them they have 28 days to act.

You must have proof of postage when writing to the ICO though in order for them to act.

In my experience having dealt with defaults that were cleared with the bankruptcy, companies tend to update when they see you know the rules ;)

    Incase you need it:

Information Commissioner, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, Cheshire, SK9 5AF

Jem we still don't know any of the details re. move/when. It's looking positive but not signed and sealed. Until decisions are made there are so many things that can still go wrong.

Toughies can you help me with planting seeds?

What, if anything, can be sown and then planted (edible) in these months. Tall order I guess?

Garlic? Read that you can over winter that outside but 1) can I do it in a pot diameter of about 10 inches and 2) can I do it from a clove of super market garlic?

Wonderful cutest :D off to source wick ;)
