Princess when we fancy a takeaway we go to the supermarket and either buy a pizza or one of their Indian takeaway kits for £6. Nothing wrong with the easy life when you can't be bothered. Ill admit to making hotdogs in buns as I couldn't be bothered either.

7pm and its pulling in dark. A park of me is yippee as it means candles but I can't as the kiddies are watching Harry potter and that means too dangerous till they go to bed :(

Lillibet dripping its pouring down here today, we had plans to be outside as our garden is work in progress well the rain put paid to that. In fact last night I had just settled down in my bubbly radox bath when the garden lights were going on and off then dh was shouting up to me where was the torch, our darling puppy only had a toad in her mouth!!! dh managed to get her to drop the toad out it survived baby girl was foaming at the mouth, so we made sure she had a big drink and kept an eye on her, I must admit I kept checking her when she was asleep.

Sorry i haven't been on peeps, lets just say its been a rough few days.
I will try and catch up with the thread :)
I'm having a total rant to don't read it. The idea is if i post it on here it helps me to sort my head out.

    ***RANT BEGINS****
After i thought things went well at D's house, the next it was a total nightmare. It was obvious that D had it in for me from the start and did the friend i was supposedly supporting when we both went to D's house. On Thursday i was with another good friend "sparkles" who is very much like i.e suffer from depression etc.
Lets just say this is the first time D and the supposed friend had met her. Immediately as soon as i left to take they children to face painting they started on my good friend. they even did a really nasty remark saying "well at least you didn't start as young as kez" I.e i had ds1 at the age of 17, i'm not proud of it but i can honestly say with all my heart if i hadn't of had him. I wouldn't be here right now, i'd have left this world a long time ago. Awful thing to say but its the truth.

My children were interrogated without my permission. D has managed to completely isolate me from a group of close friends, whose kids my children were friends of. She told lies and the parent who i stood up when she called L thick threatened me and offered to "take me outside".
At the fun day i had three people whom i was sat with and they saw everything that was taking place. Luckily one of the people who saw is very influential and said to me she is not impressed and is going to speak to the organisers about it. The influential person and staff also said its all on camera and it will show that everything that has been done and said. Told me not to worry and that it will be dealt with.

D and the other involved have threatened to come to my house and where my children attend school. I've said very publicly on Facebook, but i didn't mention any names. That if they came anywhere near my children again i would report them to the authorities. I know i shouldn't of said it on there but i was so scared and angry.

On Friday i was threatened over the phone and through texts. so i just ignored my phone. The friend who i was supposedly supporting was also outside chatting to D about it all and the other four women involved, so it was blatantly a set up. All the messages involved mainly said i was nutter, said i physically abused my children. I should be on medication, that i'm a freak and need to be on it and i should be locked up. d went on to say that i hadn't supported my kids at school. She also said she would have her say with me at school and she would be waiting for me. I also know fine well that she has told these other four woman about my past and my very close personal secrets.

So all day "sparkles" and LA have been there for me."sparkles" i'm shocked to say that she sent me a message telling me all the carp she's been through in her life. I was so upset and moved that i told her mine. She didn't turn away in disgust instead she wrote back and said see told you we were fruit loops together! This one line had me in stitches :rotfl: We call LA fruitnut and her minions fruit loops.

    BAck soon x

Sorry you're having such a tough time Kez. Sod 'em all.
  • Just popping out to the doorstep to share a little excitement ... My parents live nearby and have given me permission to use their cold frame and lean-to greenhouse thingy and some space in their garden to do a bit of veg growing!

I've always resisted gardening cause I'm scared of beasties but working with Cats Protection has taught me that I can put my hands in lots of icky things if I'm wearing rubber gloves so I'm going to grit my teeth to stop the squealing and learn to deal with beasties too.

Today I bought a gardening mag and am using that as a guide of what I can do in September in containers. I have some appropriate seeds (cut and come again salads). I have rubber gloves. The parents are supplying some containers to get me started. Tomorrow I'm going to clean out what I'm being given and investigate compost at the garden centre. And then I think I might sow some seeds!

Oh Kez - I'm half sorry and half hopping mad, all at once on your behalf. Some people are just sh*ts and not worth the mental energy! Glad you have some people in your corner in RL and know that you have a heck of a lot more in your corner on here.

What age you were when you had DS is non of their beeswax - I've known people who've had kids later in life that I wouldn't have trusted with a wormery and people who have had kids young that I would leave my precious little darlings with quite happily. DD's 1to1 from nursery is very young (not that she has a kid of her own but bear with me) however in many way I feel that her youth and inexperience helped her to be the very person that DD needed as she had no preconceptions - no ideas that kids with disabilities do xyz/need xyz - she just took her cues from DD and as a consequence DD progressed massively. Age and experience is not always the be all and end all - me, I'd have been rubbish if I'd had kids young - I just wasn't ready but from all you have posted I'd say you are a cracking mum and a lovely friend - and if anyone doesn't appreciate that then, quite frankly, they aren't worth the brain space! D will show herself up to anyone worth bothering with as the pillock that she is - ignore her and any cronies she may have conned - you are the better person!

Kezlou I'm really sorry that your having a hard time with these people,
I know it's easier said than done to ignore it. I don't like Facebook I think people seem to think its ok to bully others and cause hurt to people without reason. I just can't understand why people are so cruel and malicious to others without reason. If I don't like somebody I stay away from that person however if I have to be in contact with them I would like to think I am polite and civil, well that's my little rant over Boo x

I know exactly what you mean re OHs! DH wanted some cokes from Monsieur Ts yesterday and I refused to make a special journey to get them without other shopping. He is addicted to the stuff, drives me mad and the expense of it, he drinks gallons.

He said he would go himself (grrrr!) and offered to get other shopping and bits for our picnic out tomorrow. I let him buy a couple of bits I only buy in there but nothing more and for once he didn't moan when I said we can't afford to do all our shopping there. It would have saved me a shopping trip today but for us to have our little treats and pleasures I have to be savvy with the food shop.

I find though that over time DH picks up many of my OS habits without thinking. I have also learnt to let a few things go for an easier life all round. Kids do some stuff like turning off TV, lights etc after use. Just have to keep on keeping on ;)

must go out now... stop posting everyone for 2 mins :D
    sq:)

My DS moved out earlier this month - he's 21. The lad who wouldn't really eat the packup I gave him and who bought loads of rubbish and multiple bottles of coke/lucozade now has to balance his budget! He now makes ham sarnies and takes a bottle of diluted squash! (I wish he'd been like this when at home!) Some people just have to learn lessons for themselves....

    Hello everyone

I've been on holiday, got back at the beginning of the week and have been trying to catch up with the threads I subscribe to. But there's just been too many pages for me to have any hope of catching up with this one.

So apologies to anyone if I seem to be ignoring what they have said about a particular topic. If anyone could give me a short summary of what we have been talking about, I'd be really grateful

DDs were left with strict instructions about watering and picking courgettes before they turn into marrows

Anyone got any suggestions for using up marrows?:rotfl:
It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!
