KLYN good luck at the vets with dockie, fingers crissed its just the medication not agreeing with his tummy.
Ive just hung the nets up as buddie keeps barking at everything.... at least he cant see as much through the windows now. And its more private.
Our new boss, just cant cope with how busy we are as a shop, his shop closed as it wasn't busy at all. He travels for nearly an hour to work, and just keeps complaining about too much to do. Rock and a hard place really. I like it busy, as time passes so quickly.
Take care xBSC member 137

I hope it goes well at the vets Mrs LW. Poor Docky.
I am giving DH a mental slap Kidcat, hope you don't mind.
Well I guess it went well, I have a trial day on Thursday. Rather oddly she already seemed to have decided that, and hasn't arranged to interview anyone else. It sounds as if a few more hours would be possible on an ad hoc basis and they could be flexible re. DD too, in that she suggested if she asked me to do some cooking sessions at holiday club I could bring DD in (for free). Which was nice of her. So it's all go! Hardly any money, but I hate not doing anything, and hopefully I can cobble together something else.0 -
Congratulations Possession - let us know how you get on on ThursdayMust use my stash up!0

((((((((((Mrs LW)))))))) hope you get to see the vet soon and get some sleep this afternoon. Thinking of you and Docky.
Sounds very promising Possession!
I have been busy today trying to get as many odds and ends done as possible indoors. Unfortunately I have developed a pain in my back - not in the usual place though and don't know why- hope it wears off soon as I have lots more to do.
School have just asked that children come in as superheroes on Friday to raise money for Children in Need. We have nothing that fits and do not want to buy outfits - in fact I refuse to. I am wondering if a homemade cape with a big superhero letter stitched onto a long sleeved plain top (maybe their initial) and some sort of leggings of mine will be enough. I don't have the time or skill in a couple of days to make a decent known character so inventing one, well two might work? Poor kids, they get to wear my naff homemade outfits - not that home made outfits are generally naff - but mine definitely are!!0 -
SQ we have same issue, thankfully I had bought Ds10 a batman onesie for Christmas so am going to use that.
Nutty it sounds as though he really doesn't want to be there, realistically be needs it busy to keep his job, surely he has realised that by now.
Well I am back my hair is not add drastic as I wanted however the hairdressers explained why I couldn't go from dyed black to blonde in one session. They suggest going a few shades each visit.0 -
Lots of ideas online SQ.
Have a look here: http://kidcrave.com/scoop/make-your-own-superhero-costume/ (i like the jetpack personally...)0 -
I have the same superhero problem. DD seems to think she is sticking some kind of lightening bolt onto her black leotard. Think she might be a bit cold! I don't get involved with DD and clothes. She has been very sure of her own mind on that matter since she was about 2! And I am most certainly not buying anything. Just last week school/PTA asked for about £60 of stuff, and yesterday they mentioned Yrs 5 & 6 are going to meet an author at the RSC on Friday and they can take in £10 for a signed book - optional luckily. Mind you I have no idea why it would be £10 when you can get the book for £5.50 on Amazon. SOmeone is making money there and I don't suppose it's the school!0
