Psst if anyone minds a follow from me on Pinterest that would be cool. I'm looking for like minded interests on there. Possession I somehow lost you on there but found you again. I am going to sit and stalk all your finds this afternoon. ;)

Haha Fuddle that will take you all day, LOL! I rarely find time to visit Pinterest now, ironically since I'm unemployed. When we eventually move I'm sure I will find all the decorating ideas I need there though, I love it.
Burtha, big (((hugs))) for you. Go and make the appointment now. Much better to get it over with.
My children seem exhausted, good job it's half term this week. A little homework done today but mostly a day of being vegetables for them, and cleaning for me.

Who would like to have two boisterous boys for a day or two? Any takers... come on don't be shy? No-one??? Well I don't blame you, they are driving me bonkers. Bonkers, bonkers, bonkers! Had stuff to do this morning then planned to go out. DS7 says he didn't feel well so we didn't go. Now he is the opposite. I am getting nowhere fast today.

Ok see if we can get out of the door (they must have serious cabin fever) without me throwing myself on the floor in a middle-aged tantrum!! It's hard when time, money and energy are not in abundance. They are on holiday but I am definitely NOT! ha ha

I feel your pain sq, although, touch wood, my two are having a good day today.

I love the mix of colours in it. It's screaming at me to try to card/spin it for another cushion cover but I just don't think I have the skills. I suppose it depends on whether I ruin it washing it. Seems such a shame, although very lovely, to have it as a stool cushion for my derriere!

I have enjoyed my few days off mothering and home making. I have another on Friday :) I am well aware that it is a romantic dream because the reality of a full time SAHM is very very different. Nice to get to do the good stuff every now and then though :)

I love your cushion cover fuddle and the fudge looks yummy.

Usually I love the holidays with the kids but today I am not enjoying it, just feel stressed. I think its partly Mother Nature interfering, I feel so hormonal, tired, headachy, grumpy and fedup but trying not to show it in front of the kids.

Just feels like every day at the moment is a big list of chores. Realised I missed the cut off for the home insurance renewal and the premiums will come off automatically without me shopping around, could kick myself. We have been shopping for various bits and because I had the kids with me have spent way more than I intended, went to the easiest shops rather than the cheapest and bought Halloween outfits which I have never done before - we have nothing suitable to wear or adapt and I haven't the time anyway. DS10 hardly has any ordinary clothes that fit let alone a costume. His PJS are way too short for the winter and the jeans I have been meaning to hem for a few weeks are now too tight.

Sorry for the ranting moan, today is one of those days when I wish I could pack them off to a grandparent or auntie and snuggle up with a film and duvet and have a bit of a weep. I guess I must be thinking of my wider family too at the moment and feeling really sad about it all and to be honest rejected. I sound such a wimp sorry but good to get it all off my chest.

Ok onwards and upwards, need to check some things on the PC before his lordship gets home and make dinner. Had planned jambalaya but might fall back on the easy pasta and sauce I bought today, not OS but needs must sometimes.

Can I have a scream and rant I have tried to post 5 times and lost it?
Even when I wrote it in note book it times out.:wall:

I have been trying to post since 4pm.

Other rant DS20 just been sanctioned for going on a compulsory course. It is time the job centre got it's act together. I have been supporting someone who is trying to get an investigation into her brothers death due to being sanctioned.

Due to that DS has been looking into other deaths apparently there have been quite a few due to sanctioning and there is a suspected quota they have to fill every month.

How could DS be sanctioned? He missed an appointment while on the course and was late one morning in order to tell them he could not make the appointment. They are claiming he did not make the phone call. There should be a record with his mobile company of him calling them and the call taking 40 mins.

Welcome Camelot. This is the best thread on the OS board very friendly and so supportive. Now every ones head shrink a little.

Ginny I am joining your DH in falling out of bed. I did it last night. I had to lay there about half an hour before I could get up. No damage done, just a little embarrassed. Good
job it was a warm night.

Burtha you have every right to rant and rave at your age. Sometimes you need to talk about things outside your family. This is where to do it there is always someone around if you even if
feel bad in the middle of the night, someone will have woken up at silly o'clock. Sorry the hugs are just virtual. We all want them to be real.:grouphug:

There will be a support organisation for brain tumours you can also talk to them.

AOT and Sheila glad you are going on OK. Sheila just remember you will have to be fully weight bearing on the foot that has been operated on before he can do the other one.

Oh fuddle I could just eat a piece of that fudge. There are lots of sweets you can make and lots of flavours of fudge.

SQ I don't think it is hormonal it is just life all you can see is endless days of struggle to get through your work and no prospect of a day off. On top of that you can see DS10 growingout of everything every time you blink. Accept anything that is given you in clothes for him. Buy the cheapest and the least you can manage with. All his friends will have short jumpers and trousers that is the one thing they all have in common in year 6. Once I knew which school DS20 was going to I was determined not to buy more trousers because I knew the colour would change. It turned out his trousers where not the shortest in the class.

Nurse Maggie. You can contact the phone company and they will give you a copy of all calls made in the time he says, it will have the number and length of call on it. I've had to do this for a disputed call before. Has he talked to CAB? Can they help?

Well just got back from my nephews party, a bit fuming cos his mum knew I was buying him a nerf gun , so she brought him one and gave it to him on Saturday.. She doesn't live with the kids, doesn't really want to see them if she could get away with it,
But... What she didn't have was my amazing super targets, lol he loved them .
    I'll try and put a picture up[IMG][/img]imagejpg1_zps41f29c59.jpg

Thanks Cornish I have already told him all that. He did not get the letters until late. We often go get our post until late afternoon. He did the course weeks ago note how long they take to tell you. I do hope the phone records are kept long enough.

I have given him a list of what to do in the morning. DWP close at 4pm.

Could you not just throttle your nephews mother how can anyone do that to anyone. I feel DWP work under the same nastiness.

if i could get away with it, yes :D she also gave him a sausage roll and sweets not long before we picked him up tonight, as she had them as dad was working, she knew we were taking him to KFC as a treat...which is just like her.. but we tolerate her cos she is their mum and they love her.. but I have to keep biting my tongue when I see her.....

tmi warning.. i couldnt wait to get home and take my bra off.. where i am getting the shingles pain is right where my bra strap is.. lol.. 3 weeks and no sign of a rash just the pain. it can take up to 4 weeks to get over, so if its still bad in a weeks time i'm going back to the docs.
