    silvasava That's a brilliant name :D

Well done on the presentation and the puppy nuttyp!

SQ Hope you got a decent sleep xx

PIC[/I] Thanks for explaining that the CT is not allowed to increase by more than 2%. I had an idea I'd read that somewhere, but wasn't sure if I'd imagined it. Am horrified about your PCT though! We don't have that here, but a big chunk of our CT goes to pay for the running of London, IYSWIM.

AOT Well done with the soup :) How are things otherwise? A bit better I hope x
  • How about Cobby or Brazil the first from Cobb Nut because he's Nuttys puppy and the second because it's the year of the World Cup and it can be shortened to Zilly!!!

A good morning to you all (and all the better for a decent night's sleep!)

well done nutty on the presentation - sounds like yours was the most imaginative. woohoo a puppy, brilliant news! loving the names suggested.

Mrs LW, did I miss a report on Zebra? how did your visit go?
AOT - you sounded busy yesterday, don't overdo it in the heat.

we are off to the woods this morning, somewhere cool - can you tell I am not good in the heat? :D Running out of cool places though - chiller aisles tick, cinema tick, woods ......
I guess swimming would be good, boys not keen on crowded pools and non holiday/fun sessions are understandably reserved for adults only. Cool and quiet = bliss.

We have decided to use one of our tosspot rewards this weekend instead of at the end of the hols as we haven't done anything much yet. Off to the Tower of London, boys have wanted to go for years and ever since watching and reading Gangsta Granny, they are desperate to go. Will take lunch so only train fares needed.

another coffee and then rally the troops
    SQ :)
  • Good morning everyone. Although, really, its far from a good morning in this house.
Thanks Ivyleaf and SavingQueen. I was feeling so good yesterday that I think I overdid things and am paying for it now. My old arthritic feet are repaying me for being on them so much yesterday and cannot bear anything to touch them. So that's me housebound for today at least - if not longer. I have had to cancel appointments for today.
But at least I have easy meals in freezer now and can spend the time with feet up and crochet in hand.:rotfl:

Hope you all enjoy your day at Tower of London SavingQueen, Its somewhere I've not been.

sorry to hear you are poorly today AOT, sending a gentle hug and hopefully you will feel better tomorrow after a good rest today.

we still haven't gone out as boys made up another of their games with cushions and sofa parts all over the living room and they didn't want to stop so left them to it. just about to hang another load and give them lunch (already had mine, couldn't wait :D.) The basic chores all are done, but hoping to do a few "extras" after our afternoon trip out.

    SQ :)

SQ my little Zebra is wonderful and growing up so fast. We had a lovely weekend and took him on the little open topped ferry to the other side of the river for a walk and lunch and he had his first taste of olive and loved it!!! He's fascinated with textures at the moment so we spent lots of time in the garden feeling different leaves and rubbing them with our fingers, magic. He's also on to finger foods for his midday meal and very adventurous and will eat (well suck and gum them into submission anyway) pretty much everything. He had fresh peas just lightly steamed, fresh raspberries, fresh pineapple, apricot, cubes of cheese, banana, bread, fresh peach, sungold tomatoes fresh and still warm from the greenhouse and enjoyed the lot. He's lots of fun and cuddles and full of smiles and I absolutely adore him!!! doesn't show does it??? Lyn xxx.
