Hi all, thank you for all doing a sun dance for my BBQ, I raised £150 for cancer research, and as usual over catered due to some people not turning up even though they said they would  so deforested 2kg of sausages ready for the hords . Had a kg left, so being OS I have made some into a meat loaf with left over un cooked burgers, a stuffing and sausagemeat loaf, some for my tea tonight and some mini patti type things to freeze for lunches all cooking now and it smells lovely. :T
mrs LI think you could be onto something with the jelly babies, but I believe treatment needs to be alternated with a few squares of really good chocolate and chatting with the good peeps on the thread..
Right of to play a game of freezer Tetris , need to squeeze in some more burgers, and the soon to be frozen sausage creations.. So much for my plans to get it empty by the end of the month so I can replace it .. Oh well..
Hugs and love to all

I am feeling very very low and think I will ring my gp in morning to see if I can book an app with him, although I will have to wait a while, as he will be busy, so I understand. I am also nearly round the bend with Microsoft unbelieveable problems this past few days with them. I have posted on the techie site and perhaps someone can help me there. The weather here is warm and clammy and we have had rain which the garden badly needs. It is looking better now plenty of colour and the grass is nicely cut.. Hope you all have a nice day love Margaret xx
I hope your GP helps you out hun and it doesn't matter if he's busy or not you just take your time.
I think DHs tablets must be working as we called in on a carboot ont the way to Woodhall Spa 40's weekend and he lifted two spirit levels above his head and shouted "just what I need, some high spirts" .......... could have died
Woodhall was fab, lot's of people in fancy dress and best of all it's free and really enjoyed myself. There was even a vintage craft room
I'm glad it's on every year as it's not far and I love it.

PIC - What a fab way to move a greenhouse!! I like free things too.
The brush you have for cleaning your bricks - they do them in home barg-ains (if you have one nearby) for £1 - we're on our 2nd this summer but at that price I'm happy to chuck the end away when the wires start falling out, the poles are always handy.
DD1 got to the place they were staying, safely. I don't think any of them are still talking to each other - 12 hours travelling in this heat will do that do you. They've got no mains water until the plumber comes to turn it on - but he's away for the weekend so it won't be for a while......they've brought lots of bottled water and will have to make do.
Looks like we're in for another storm - it's really dark and the wind is picking up. Hope this sticky humid weather goes before Monday - we're having the back of the house repointed and I've got to have all the windows and doors closed whilst they grind out the old mortar - it's going to be dusty, noisy and sticky.
Forgot to say..........damn blast and double damn £1 you say.......walks off beating myself like a self chastising monk!

Pic, love the greenhouse moving, kind of thing we would do. Dont beat yourself, you are not a monk - the hairs all wrong for a start :rotfl:
CC well done on the fundraising, think you may be sick of burgers and sausage soon tho!!!
Margaret, hope you get in the docs, sending hugs.
Had Dgs last night and apart from an hour awake at 4 am he slept 10 till 8 - wonderful. Sadly I did not sleep any of it especially when my neighbour got up at 6 am and started bu**ering about banging gates and wheelie bins, think he is losing it  I know I am. Had a quiet day to make up for it. Hubby went for an hours nap at 5pm and all is quiet so am guessing thats him done.Clearing the junk to travel light

I will get my caravan0 -
CC - £150 is fab! Well done!!
Mar - Send the RV out for some as soon as the shops open tomorrow!!
Margaret - Hope you can get to see the GP soon, sorry you're feeling so down x
Not sure where the afternoon and evening went - got lots of stuff finished and was hoping to do some framing but it's too late to think about that now. Shall go do a bit of crochet and try not to fall asleep in front of the tv."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0 -
Fab fundraising CC - hope you squeezed in all the stuff you made afterwards = bet you did! You are an amazing woman.
Glad DH is in "high spirits" PIC! Please don't berate yourself, not good for the soul - you are an A1 OSer!
Hope DD and group got their water Pooky, the French speakers will come in very handy.
I have been finding all sorts of random items during The Great Declutter of 2014, for example I am currently modelling a pair of ear plugs I found to see if they make any difference to the decibel level of DH's snoring. He is so loud sometimes he wakes himself up then goes straight back to sleep..... and snoring. Sounds funny and it is but also bliddy annoying. I have also been playing around with old nail varnishes - all colours I no longer or never did like. Mixed various combos and now have a batch of different colours.... that I also dislike :rotfl:

Re. Freezer. After some re packing and a weird combo of veg and bits for tea with a slice of the sausage stuffing loaf, it is all in the freezer. 😄 added stuff to master list and invited 2 lots of friends over for a meal next week and family at week end.. Just to eat from my freezer lol determined to empty it soon. The freezer is on it's last legs makes strange noises... ( but not beeping) :rotfl: and two of the drawers are held together with tape, would rather a controlled change as opposed to a emergency one iykwim.
((((Hugs)) to Margaret .
Still giggling at the high spirts comment PIC
Right bed time for me . Early shift tomorrow x
