Hi AOT I think half term and slightly better weather that lets us do outsidey things at least part of the time means everyone is busier than normal and has less time to be online. Have yourself a lovely holiday in Turkey and soak up those rays!!! Lyn xxx.

Well DH didn't catch anything useful.. 4 dogfish that have scraped his knuckles. Still, he enjoyed it and deserved to go. Try again next month!

MIL is bringing down tins of mushy peas for me. I know they have it in the South but not locally. As I'm time poor I pick up from Waitrose, Tesco Exp or the Coop using house keeping cash whenever we run out. No it's not a money saver I expect but it means we always have what we need, I keep to budget and don't need a couple of hours to write lists, click online or physically go get it. It's working so far.. except with mushy peas!!

I have got ox daisy seeds. Really very pleased. We don't have a pot to put them in so using 3 milk cartons at the moment. I will then plant them together in a big pot when I get one. I will get a mixed wildflower collection too. We are thinking about investing in patio fruit bushes and trees. Patio so we can take them when we move on with it being rented. The strawberry plants are being left alone by the birds not the netting is there but we have been to a cheap garden centre (In-excess Ringwood Lyn quite cheap if you're on the other side of the New Forest) and found the netting we paid £3 a few days back for £1.50 - severely narked!

I have had a childhood dream come true today... I have realised the tree where I park at the back of the house is a conker tree! The fun we are going to have is going to be super!

This isn't OS but I am happy to tell you I am having a night out tomorrow with my 2 supervisors and manager. We all get on really well so getting together for Mexican food and a couple of drinks. looking forward to it muchly

Ribs for tea. DH is doing it which means I shall have to be patient as he [STRIKE]faffs[/STRIKE] does things properly.

DD's little puppy will be complete tonight. I also want to get a square done for the blanket I am on with. Getting nervous I am running out of time for it to be ready for Autumn.

FUDDLE love if ever anyone deserved to have a non OS night out it's YOU honey, go and enjoy every single second of it.

We're not often over that side of the forest but thanks for the tip, if we ever are we'll look for the garden centre, sounds super.

When DD2 was little she called pine cones CONKERPINES and conkers CONKMEs, sweet eh? Lyn xxx.

Right off now to gym again I discovered last night it has the advantage of helping me work out my anger and stress.

Good Luck Pooky. Just remember, you are interviewing them as well. I mean you can usually tell at an interview if you'd enjoy working there. I loathed the person who did my last interview and told them that I wouldn't be accepting the job if offered. I just didn't see it working out as long as they were in charge.


AOT, Turkey sounds lovely


I think the thread has slowed down somewhat because a while back people were talking about going to FaceBook. I've always found that when parts of a group migrate there, threads and forums slow down.

WC do you know what the FB page was called? I joined one and all's they did was argue and pick on people, wasn't for me.
