CC feel so sorry for you , do not know what to say , apart from what LYN said , she has summoned it up with such kind words...xxxxxxx
Thank you all for your good wishes to us and very kind posts, advise is always brilliant on this thread .......
One bit of good news , all the phone calls I made to ss yesterday finally got a result, they have arranged for OH to go into care home this friday for 2 weeks:T, BUT they havent sorted out his long term care yet because the case workers manager is on 2 wk holiday to Tenerife.. so she cant get get the go ahead to say he can go in there permanently , so what it means is he go in for 2 weeks then comes home until the manager rubber stamps everything.......No wonder the councils are in financial ruin the past couple of years it all seem to me that its going downhill .........
Im happy that I can go in the hospital knowing he is looked after well......Thats the main thing.........At least I can get saturday and sunday housework up to date and have few hours rest before Monday.......
Weather has been super here today , all washing up to date , grass cut for the 3 rd time this year already , plus the weeds are making a show .......Got the pond pump up and running , loads a frogs about......
Catch you all later....Sheila0 -
SHEILA glad that they at least can free you up for the op and when you need to be able to rest after, I hope and pray that they can get their act together very quickly after that and find your dear OH a permanent home for both your sakes. Stay strong my friend, it WILL all get sorted out in the end, Lyn xxx.0

Sheila, so glad things are sorted for you both. Its good you will have time to relax before hand and afterwards too. You can camp out in front of your lovely fire and get better properly. Knowing hubby is in safe hands will help a great deal I am sure.
Hubby got up for an hour or so today and ate a meal :j thats 3 meals recently. Trouble is when he isnt eating I cant be bothered either but gave myself a stern talking to and bought a bag of salad until mine grows and have a meal plan for one. Must admit to gettting a bit bliddy bored at the mo but have no excuse as I have lots of projects on the go. Dgs now goes to school till 2pm and is being a very good , if a little tired, boy. Last night I was talking to his Mummy on the phone and she passed him the phone, he said 'night night' such a little thing but such a big thing.
Nipped to Sainsbuggys just at the right time and spent £14 all on ys stuff and saved £10 :T made my day.Clearing the junk to travel light

Its been 'fierce' but dry today - sideways rain, I'm not such a fan of but wind, I can glare at.Knit_Witch wrote: »Excellent! oh I hope you have a few hours spare to read it
It's haivers but well meant. A deranged gardener battling with wind and life with sideways hailstones.
I just wanted to say thank you for the share and hello.
Hugs to those with lots on with their families, I'm sorry if I've intruded, you all sound like such a supportive lovely lot from what I've just been reading.
I'll tip toe out now, quietly.

Hey PIPPI don't go, stay and play, it's lovely when new folks actually do join in on a regular basis, it makes us all richer, Lyn xxx.0

Welcome Pippi, no tiptoeing away now!
Sheila that's such a relief that OH's care is sorted at least while you're in hospital. It's rather shocking that everything stops because someone's on holiday though - I guess I shouldn't be shocked given how ineptly they've handled things so far.
CC - thinking of you.
Still in the House of Sickness here. Feel as if I haven't left the house for weeks, and now in dire need of bleach and cleaning stuff but DD is being sick so can't leave the house again.0
