PPC, UKPC fines not parked within lines!?

So this is the appeal letter I write, I have now received one back claiming they will peruse with the fine!!
To whom ever it may concern,
Today I visited the Silverlink retail park for a short 20minutes to purchase farthersday gifts, to my disbelief I came across receiving a 60-100£ fine for a parking offence, i was compltley unaware what i had done was an offence (let alone charagable)
So here is the situation that accrued today.
i came to park in the silverlink retail parks private car park. when i parked up i was unaware i was within two bays. Although I did noticed that I had parked 1 car away from the park warden 02366, unaware i was committing an offence I walked into poundworld purchased some items and returned to my car (10minutes) later the park warden still next to his and my car, I then noticed I had parked within the bays, I considered moving it but due to me being next to the park warden whilst he seemed to have no concerns (he did not warn me to move the car or let me know I was committing an actual offence).
So I took the liberty of noticing that there was not a lack of parking bays around the area i was parked & i only had only one more shop to vist for a further 10-15minutes. So I assumed it would be alright to leave the car in that position. As i was none the wiser that i was committing an official offence, I at most thought the warden would have warned me befor I walked to the shop that this was against rules& would be charged. On arrival back at the car I noticed a sign on my window, unwilling to believe I had a 60-100£ fine, at this time I wasn't even aware this was an offence. So I walked over to discuss the situation with the warden 02366, he totally understood were I was coming from and discused with me how to appeal against the fine. He told me that he was sorry for the way the situation had came about and apologised. I tried to call you immediately To realise youre offices are closed over the weekend, so i have decided to write to you to discuss this whole situation to my hope that you can see my point of view & resolve this matter. I shop at the silverlink weekly and feel i should have atleast recived some type of warning prior to this fine. I have checked online to view photos and seen the sign post regarding parking offences, I'm very sorry I was totally unaware these had been put up and failed to recognise them, I solely regret not taking more time to park. I Thank you for your time & encourage you to contact me if more information is needed. I am aware you have cameras, surly you will be able to confirm my complaint with the acquired data regarding the parking wardens whereabouts at present times that I park and returned to my vehicle.
I'm very sorry this has accrued and will make sure the next time To pArk i am fully enclosed in one bay.
I have read on here not to pay the fine and ignore the robbing UKPC.
Can someone please confirm this is alright to do, so I'm not leaving my self with debt or court dates to be hassled even more!

It's not a FINE!!What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

no offence was committed, you haven't got a fine, and the parking person you talked to was not a warden just someone employed to issue as many tickets as possible. From the Plain Language Commission:
"The BPA has surely become one of the most socially dangerous organisations in the UK"0 -
Did you get a POPLA code?
As this was at a Railyway station can you confirm EXACTLY what the ticket says does it mention Penalty anywhere on it?0 -
No this was retail park with no current pay and display!!
I have never seen parking signs there before this must have been put up recently!!
There was lots of spaces still available, they took pictures and posted them online! Clearly shows 3 or 4 free spaces just next to me never mind the rest of the retail park! Plus warden parked 2 spaces along.
They also have security cameras there, so they must have evidence I was parked next to the warden, whilst he failed to mention I was illegally parked over the space of 15min! I actually went to shops came back, he still said nothing! Then I was to go quickly to one more shop 10min) on return I had this fine! Shouldn't he have warned me to move car befor fining me, considering he watched me walk way from the car!?0 -
DID THEY SEND YOU A POPLA CODE with the rejection of appeal
Please answer the questions without the extra hear say added on.Be happy...;)0 -
Yes they did0

Is this a problem? I have read other forums they all seem pretty sure u can just ignore these letters, is this true? I have no intention of paying, I can't see how it's feasible to charge 60£ due to being parked out of designated bay-slightly over white lines! Especially when warden didn't warn me then watched me walk away from vehicle!0

Far from it - it's a good thing. You should appeal to POPLA but you need to ensure you use exactly the correct wording.
You should read this thread - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4488337 - for examples.
You can also email copies of your ticket to info@popla.me.uk for assistance.0 -

Mitigation of their losses. You need to read this VCS -v- IbbotsonPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
