Showed her the dress i have bought and she thought it looked lovely but H came in as i was still in it, told me i looked like a fat lump. Thing is i know i don't - yes i might still have a bit of tummy fat but nothing a bit of shapewear won't sort out - he just hates it because it makes me look good. :p:rotfl:

Go you! Ignore your H Lizzie, I'm sure the dress is fab - where did you find it in the end (sorry if I missed this)?

Lizzie you sure have your OH running scared :T next time say I can lose fat but you'll always be a t w u n t ;) sorry to hear DD2 is poorly again :(

Hebbiejeebies don't lurk join in! Lucky you going to Silverstone, I went as a kid but not since.

I am to Prescott Hill Climb Club today for a bit of motoring fun with my dad (the original petrol head) and DS (who is a bit of a fledgling petrol head). I am thinking of dressing fabulous but practical, this after all is UK weather. I hate having to wear my waterproof jacket but sensible side of me thinks its the most practical thing. Don't want to be shivering under a brolly.
Anyway had best jump in the shower. Have a great day what ever you're doing x

Boy the thread is quiet, where are you all? :p

Had loads of fun watching the motor racing, weather was lovely and warm with a bit of sun :D
Not sure what fabulous plans involve today, taking kids for a swim so might fit in a few lengths myself. I haven't done any yoga for a couple of days so will do that too.
Not doing very well with my drinking more water, I just forget to do it or small persons snaffle my drink  I swear in this house nothing is sacred!!!
Have been a bit hit and miss with the whole fasting wagon last week. Finding 500 really hard but if I don't keep up with it any inches I've lost are going to reappear and therefore any new clothes I've bought wont fit  I can do this, it's all in my head, just a question of getting past the psychological barrier!

Anyway have a wonderful Sunday all :D

    I'm here too!

The prom on Friday was really good and I felt lovely in my new dress and shoes - got loads of compliments too!:j The Fling was very appreciative too ;)

Had a bit of a lazy day yesterday, watched the rugby, did a load of housework and saw Fling. Just watched telly and flopped around the house in the evening though but did have 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep last night so woke up full of beans.

Took the dog for a 5k run around the water park this morning - haven't been running for ages but was just in the mood and quite enjoyed it. Then came home and sorted the back garden, tidied and mowed, hoping for the sun to come out so I can top up the tan later.

Just about to dye my hair (again!) to sort out my roots and tidy my eyebrows up and do a face scrub so I look a bit human again. That's about it for fabbing today though.

Hope everyone has a good restful Sunday. x

I've not had much to report, just done my usual Sunday Scrub-up. I'm still feeling a bit down on myself, being lazy and eating rubbish, so I started to look at some exercise stuff on here and on u-tube and now determined to do 30 Day Shred or somesuch.

Realistically at this stage I would not even contemplate doing a full 30 minute work out all in one go, so I have written down the level one routine and have done bits of it throughout the day, between sorting out a cupboard that was in desperate need. I quite enjoyed it and could have done more; however I've no desire to go hard out to hurt and punish myself, so I'll aim to do longer sessions and join the dots as I build up a bit more stamina.

Hi I'm here too. Just crazy mad busy at the moment.

Hopefully next month will see the start of a quiet spell when I can just ease off a little and take a breather before the next onslaught.

Have spent the morning sorting out some paperwork, tidying up files, had a session with the chimenea last evening.

Mum now in her permanent home, dad much calmer. I think he's finally coming to terms with it. It's a huge step for both of them - a terrible wrench after 64 years of marriage. He has been a bit of a handful and it has taken me all my patience to deal with him. Hopefully he's over the worst now. Mum not terribly happy and she is piling on the guilt but I think both Dad and my Sister are learning to take a step back and focus on the practicalities.

Thank goodness my OH has been so supportive and understanding. He adapted to nursing home life with his customary grace, charm and dignity. He's a star. Unfortunately it's plain to see the drug trial has failed.....He has been quite poorly again this week.

Mortgage offer in for DS's house jogging along nicely. Mortgage app completed for DS2's house. Aiming to get both legally completed by end of Sept latest so we can start on the gardens before the winter sets in.

So - it's time for me now - physio and chiropodist booked for next week. Going to try and squeeze in a hair cut, and maybe buy a few clothes.......:rotfl: I really need a couple pairs of shoes.

Right off to see OH, call in at the shops on the way back, cook a nice meal this evening....

    No peace for the wicked!!!!

    Good morning everyone :)
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend, wasn't the weather fantastic. I actually sat out in the sun and did nothing for the first time in well years yesterday :D it was bliss. Not for too long as didn't want to burn.
Didn't do my yoga so need to make time for this today in between visits to vets with animals and opticians with DD and the usual tidy up. House fabbing needed as H got a load of stuff down from loft that needs to be gotten rid of.

Typical I have made the effort, nice Capri trousers and coordinating t shirt and suns done a runner  oh well I am not changing now :rotfl: wore my new sun dress yesterday and felt rather nice in it :) Amazing how a bit of sun makes you feel better.

Anyway housework beckons. Have a great day :)

LL sorry to hear drug trial has failed xxx good news about house purchase x

Kiwis a bit of exercise good for a boost. I love YouTube some great videos on there.

WW glad you had a good time at prom :)

Sparkles hope all is going well with dissertation x

I shall start to record my exercising efforts to help motivate me. I did my usual yoga class today so gave the Shred stuff a miss, although I did feel the need to add a few rounds of :j and a bit of jogging on the spot when I got home.
