Good morning ladies
Well yesterday was a total write off. My dad playing up, (won't bore you with that one!!!!), DS2's estate agent being a PITA, me chasing around trying to chivvy OH's care manager again. A couple of unexpected bills landed on the mat - more money to shell out  more SS paperwork to wade through.
Hey ho......
Today is another day, nice and warm and sunny by the look of it so will crack on through the normal morning stuff and then go and see OH and wheel him out into the sun.
Well ladies - what can I say. You are all getting off to a cracking start. All that yoga - you lot are really putting me to shame on the exercise front.
However, I did manage to do some extra fabbing yesterday and am doing well with the F&V intake so not all bad.
Skymist - well done one getting the house fabbing all done. Now is the time to sit back and enjoy the fruits of your labour. DS1's "forever house" is being surveyed today. Keeping everything crossed. It is such a pretty house - in a slightly unfashionable part of the city but the house is so cute I can forgive that. I will try and post piccies soon.
I know it won't be "my" house but as you know we will all be living in it together for a while. I am so looking forward to it - especially one last chance to get my boys and I all under the same roof again. It will be like the "Waltons" "Goodnight Jon Boy". :rotfl: DS2 is actually a Jon.;) One of these fine days they will have women in their lives so mum will have to take a back seat........I am going to make the most of this last time being all together. It's just such a great pity OH cannot join in with us.
BTW .... Shhhhhh - DS2 has met a girl!!!! She's very sweet - maybe????
evilsquid - that ring is gorgeous!!!
Hewie - great idea about starting your own mini slimming club. Sounds fab.
Anyway better get cracking - the day is too good to miss.0 -

Bitsy, we're going on a Med cruise so I want to have lots of photos of myself in different places.
Well day 1 of fabbing was a slow start. I did have salad for lunch but had a calorific home made pork satay for tea (made with peanut butter and coconut puree) though I threw some veg in it too.
No exercise done and my nails really need some attention tonight.
The only way is up!0 -
Well my first day as a subscriber yesterday started off well but ended a bit wrong!
I made my lunch to take to work the night before, got all the kids cothes ready so no made rush before school and got to work feeling very organised. Ate healthy lunch, had NO full fat soda ate fruit as snacks etc.
Then got a call that my dad was going into hospital so had to take dad there and didn't get in till very late. By the time i got the kids to bed i was shattered meaning that i got nothing prepared for this morning so i have come to work with a very boring lunch and felt a bit crappy tbh Also wanted to start my running but didn't get chance.
So after hospital visiting tonight I WILL get prepared for tomorrow even if i stay up past midnight again (was hoping for an early night but looks unlikely!!)
On the plus side ive made the decision if £'s allow to take someone else on at work to enable me to leave earlier and spend a bit of time with kids, getting homework done etc and basically giving my parents a bit of a rest.
Today i have
out on perfume
make up
wearing nice outfit and having some fruit
Today/Tonight I WILL!
Go for a run
drink 2l of water
Prepare a nice healthy lunch for tomorrow
Seeing everyone talking about yoga is inspiring me to have a look into this. Ive just signed up to the Gym (god knows when i'll have time) so i'll have a look at their timetable and maybe book a session!

Hi
Day off today, still not at work full time yet, been busy though, ironed, walked the dog, dropped son off at friends, gardening, still got tea to do and collect son, another dog walk and put clothes away, phew should of gone to work, would've been easier.
Evilsquid - it was slimming world, I did it years ago and lost weight then, but I think I'm more aware of the food we put in our bodies and was shocked at how much rubbish you can eat on there healthy eating plans.
Just going to finish watching the tennis, then off to cook tea.

Good morning ladies
Welcome to whichway
OK - time to share my secret.......
As you know DS1's house purchase underway. DS2's offer now accepted.
DS1's house will be our centre of operations. DS2's house is our investment project.
We are now officially "property developers". We are so excited.......
For me this is a fulfillment of a long term ambition.
First I couldn't do it because I was too poor, then my children were too young to subject them to constant house moves, then when the timing was right and we just about to launch my OH became ill.
Now it's all come right. Time to make a start.
It's a beautiful day. I'm having a day off and meeting a friend for lunch. Not seen her for a few weeks and she is off to Canada for 3 three months so we will have a lot to talk about. :rotfl::rotfl:
Now that I've got the spade work out of the way for the house purchases and have got my mum settled into her nursing home it's time for me to take a little break.
As we will probably be packing up and moving in August for now I'm going to treat July as a holiday. I am not going to go away on holiday - can't face travelling at the moment, but I am going to indulge myself. A few days out here and there, getting out and about and just generally taking time out. Chilling and relaxing, seeing friends, just having a nice potter around.
I am sooooooo worth it. :rotfl:0 -
My fabness for today has been the usual long dog walk on the beautiful morning, then back home for a peel off face mask and hair mask.
Other fabness left to do is get my least favourite job out of the way - sweeping and mopping the floors plus one lot of washing if it stays dry. Then its onto 2 hrs of uni work this morning and the same this afternoon to make more progress on that dissertation. If I do all of that I will be well fab indeed!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Morning all,
Welcome to all the newbies! Looks like people are off to good starts already
Sky - yay on getting the house fabbing finished :jNeed to try and get mine sorted, we've been trying to work on the decluttering but need to sort out the front room properly to turn more into a working space - so kind of joint office and studio hopefully. Since it's a rental house I don't want to be doing anything drastically major but furniture needs moving, rearranging, make some more space, make it feel a little more 'motivating' :rotfl:
evilsquid - your new ring is gorgeous. I would suggest trying your rings online, somewhere like ebay maybe. A lot of the high street places only seem to value them on the gold content and don't take into the account the stones or the style. Hope you manage to get something decent for them.
LL - fantastic news on the houses, go you guys with your property portfolio now!Definately agree with having some 'you' time and days out before you move in and it turns hectic again.
So, busy few days (just for a change lol!), am trying to finish a writing submission for a deadline on Sunday so have on with that most nights. Last day at my current job on Friday, still haven't asked me about doing work for them after I leave - though the manager is now off this week, asked me for my contact details before I left and said would 'get in touch' when he was back. I'm thinking they're waiting to see how the new girl does when I leave but I find it a little annoying that they can't be bothered to say to me one way or the other. Still as OH says if they do want me in after that then they will need to work around me and the new jobs.
Been in for a few days on the new one now, am quite enjoying itAlso going in to see someone tomorrow morning about possibly getting a few hours bookkeeping a week, so fingers crossed that works out and then I'd be about sorted.
Not a huge amount of fabbing going on I must admit, feel like I'm a bit all over the place at the moment and am looking forward to next week when it will hopefully calm down a bit. Going to a kind of dinner party tonight - my usual Wednesday night meetup group but one of the members is going back to Australia at weekend and is her last meeting so someone has volunteered to have us round for food. Should be nice but no idea what to take - everyone else seems to have covered the main things! Will have to take a bottle at least but since I don't drink wine I never know if it's cack or not :rotfl:Ah well, I suppose it will get drunk by someone.
Hope everyone is having a good day x0
