Things you should do before you have children

Have a poo, wee and a shower whenever you feel like it, when you have a baby they will be soundly asleep and they wait to start screaming when you are mid wee, or lathering shampoo in your hair which then goes into your eyes.
Find a couple who think their baby is the only baby to ever be born and talks about nothing but their children, ensure you do not turn into them.
Have nice wallpaper and cream carpets, there is a high likely hood that one day someone will smear poo on them.0 -
Enjoy not having to worry all the time, now my children are all grown-up I still worry about them and now I have grandchildren to worry about as well, oh the joys of parenthood but love and caring makes the world go round.0

before we had our 3 (in pretty quick succession) we planned/saved/traveled, we assumed we had done what we could.
i echo what the others have said in regards to enjoying going to the toilet or having a shower in peace. enjoy leaving the house without it feeling like a military operation, enjoy an uninterrupted meal, a HOT meal, oh how i yearned for a hot meal in peace:D
but we traveled with ours, we ate out
we didnt change the house at all, and we never had crayons on the walls or any accidents
yes life changes, but in the most amazing way ever
enjoy every minute, and dont sweat the small stuff
my "baby" who cried every time i sat down to a hot meal is now 18 and 6ft2!:rotfl:
it goes SO fast
