Ryanair Baggage allowance 15kg - how strict?

I'm not that surprised, that's how they make their money. I think these extra fees are more than half their revenue.
The table of fees on their website doesn't explicitly say it's £20 per kilo when you buy it at the airport ticket desk.
I suppose that leaves the door open to charge £100 per kilo if they want. Nothing forbids from that.

Yes it does - under "excess baggage" it clearly states N/A via https://www.ryanair.com column but under "booked via call centre or airport " column its £20 or 20 Euro with added info

I flew with Ryanair in Sept, from Prestwick to Fuerteventura and they were really strict about this. Not allowed to combine weight over 2 cases, so numerous people had to come out of the queue to throw things in the bin etc, as it was 20 eur per kilo for anything over the 15kg. They also weighed a lot of people's hand luggage on portable scales right at the gate, on the way out there and back. be careful, they make a lot of money with this!!
