Morning, well not a good start to day. Citifinancial rang me at 8am saying i had missed a payment. I pointed out that i had balance transferred off, they said oh yes i see that but it was a day late.
I must get rid of this card- its one of my lowest rates but they constantly phone me. Ofcourse i know it doesnt make any sense whatsoever- but they ring toremind me payment is due- they ring to say no payment when it is there and has been the case for a few months-they have even rang me at work.
I have only ever missed 1 payment with them and 1 cheque bounced which wasnt my fault and halifax sorted that out for me so dont understand why they ring so much.
Oh hum could be worse they could be banging at my door.- Anyway enough of my ranting. I am going to make this my priority card.

what is the 1800 in savings FOR? When was the last time you dipped in for something you needed?

I would at the very least stop paying inot it and use your 40 quid for something else, if not use up the maj of it, and leave say 200 there in case of dire times.

It will make life so much easier for you- and i think you need to make this journey as easy as you can it will have a huge impact on your mood. Also clearing one card now will imporove your credit rating and this may make it easier to get cheper credit to shuffle to later on.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

Shamu what a shock! You poor thing! But that must be a mistake, unless you're running a small factory there! Phone them and ask for the reason. If you have been using that much (which is very unlikely) they will send someone out to test the meter.

    Hi Shamu

Sorry to hear about electric bill. I would check your meter because this could just be an estimated bill.

I sympathise with you. Citi are also one of mine and they are a royal pain in the a@@e. They used to ring me as early as 8 am and as late as 10 pm (they even called on Boxing Day at 8 am).

Hi- have just rang and given them correct reading although they say they had an actual reading. They cant send anyone out to reread the meter but they will send a bill out with my reading and keep payments as they are. However i should be made aware that if i am wrong my dds will be put up and the balance immediately debited from my account.
Time to change suppliers again i think?
Surely i must get my share of good luck soon.

Lynzpower-my savings are an axa sunlife cashbuilder bonus plan. Set to make £10k in 9 years. Worked out that if i took it all out now i will have lost approx £1k of payments as its worth less than ive paid in.
I am however going to look into the suggestion i was given to set up an instant access isa and maybe just save into that and cash in my savings and make some money that way.
You are all right i am in kinda an emergency state now.

Well its a new week and i am going to be positive this week. I spent all sat at a wedding and got rather drunk and the whole day cost £1.50 on some drinks for kids. Am rather happy with that.
Managed to make it up with my mate and he has promised to come and do some ebaying for me to help as i have a distinct lack of time.(pos as always on her) He took me out last night so have let hair down well and truly this weekend which is just what i needed to get on top of things again.
Am going to ring for settlrment figure on secured loan today-if i get advice to go ahead. Also going to send letter to barclaycard for charges.
I am going to have a highly motivated week.

Well its now wednesday and im not sure where the time has gone. I am very bad mother today and slept in so kids not gone to playgroup.
Have done a far bit of research on a new loan-think im going to see if my existing lender will match my offered rates.
Each person has said my credit file shows clear with no missed payments-well confused. Surely i shouldnt get turned down for 0% offers.
Still not claimed for charges or done my court bundle. So not productive-need some energy from somewhere.

Well im just gonna write (type) things down to get it off my chest.
Just had a rant on the boards about being alone and noone being positive about me being able to do this. Then ive had a look through some other threads and some people have got it so much worse-makes me feel a bit wimpy.
I am such a yoyo at the moment. am either really happy or really down.
Have decided that im going to get more involved with challenges with should help to motivate and stop me feeling so alone.
I really need a good old shake.
Am going to attempt to convince endeavour to lower their interest rate by showing them nemos deciion/offer even though i know they wont give me it. Maybe itll work but nothing to lose.
Ive made arrangements to go collect my camera on fri so at least i can attempt to ebay then.
I so need that first spurt of energy and enthusiasm i had to begin with.
Anyone know how to get that back?
