Morning All. Its chucking it down here so my trip to down for fathers day gift will have to wait. And i arent going to put my Avon out either as getting a cold already. The weather also means my grandparents havent come and i was all geared up to have a heart to heart with them.
So tody i am going to do a mystery shop and i am going to sign up to gapbuster. I am also going to read lynzpowers ideas for quidco money making.
I also need to sort out an insurance quote for a friend- she was taking the 1st place she'd gone to.
Also need to look at this matched betting thing ive heard so much about-sounds really complicated.
Also as today i am feeling positive im going to enter some competitions.
'borrowed' some shrek face masks from work so kids will be amused all day aswell-for free!!!
Postman hasnt yet been so it could all change.
PS OH feels he is helping by having the kids even at short notice so i can earn more and by not making me transfer more into joint account. He also has done is bit by transfering £2k onto his card.
TBH its not worth arguing with him about it anymore. At least i'll be able to say that i did sort my probs without relying on him.
Prob feel totally different if this forum wasnt here, june debt totals:

Morning Shamu!
Hope you arent too tired today.
I also need to look at matched betting but am a complete gambling novice. In theory I should pick it up no problems seeing as the one thing I am fab at is maths, but havent really had the time and I think most people say place the bets in the footy season (no idea when this starts) so I am planning on researching it until the football restarts then hoping I get it by then.
Good luck Quidcoing!Debt Free - done

From what I gather the footy season takes a brake over the summer, expect for friendly internationals. I think I have seen threads saying its best to bet on normal games and easiest to find odds when there are loads of games anyway.
If I ever get my head around it then I will share my knowledge but I think I will be asking for help myself. I printed a huge thread off and have read through it a couple of times. I am also trying to get my OH involved saying it could pay for a holiday. Not that he is a gambler either.
Anyway I shall be studying hard whilst he goes on a stag weekend to Portgual next weekend. He is a bit miffed about that as he thinks its a bit much having to take 2 days off work and fork out 500 pounds without being consulted and he is a higher rate tax payer, so I cant immagine how some of this guys other friends must feel!Debt Free - done

Morning all,
Hope you are all ok. Shamu seems you are in good spirits today and I agree with you, no point in arguing with OH that will just make you feel worse and put more stress on you. You are doing well and like you say at the end of all this or even in a few months when things are looking better you can look back and be VERY proud of yourself!
I have the day off today so had a very long lie in, off away for the weekend friends wedding - OH been good brought me a lovely new dress, shoes and is paying for B&B where we are staying. Mini holiday for me!
Hope everyone has a great weekend xx0 -

My OH sent me a text which has made me laugh so i'll share it with you all.

So not my OH at all. Also i wonder why he thinks i have tons of money or time when i have told him but the thought is there i guess.june debt totals:

GRRR. EDF have just sent me our gas bill now. They are upping payments to £120 a month. i am getting a feeling of deja vu here. We do appear to owe money on our gas but not as much as they say. I am really annoyed now as not been with them that long and they promised it would be cheaper than powergen but doent appear that way. Am now well peeved and thats another phonecall. And £300+ to find by 1st july.
Not upset this time just really really angry.june debt totals:

Shamu
Me and the Oh are going to sort out matched betting.
We have decided to wait until wee have a clear spell when we have no ebay or anything else going on so we can concentrate completely properly. You are more than welcome to join us in a MSN conversation or something, maybe I could even phone you if that helps, but we are waiting until we are completely sorted with everything else before confusing ourselves further when we are overly busy as we are with the new challenge. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -

Morning all- well its finally stopped raining here! Am in much more of a positive mood today. I have had some sleep a good 14 hours to be precise.
The postman brought me a couple of cheques yesterday which were completley unexpected. The companies say they owe me the money so i'm not going to complain.
One of my friends at work has said that in a couple of months she would like to get a loan out for me-i dont really want that as its then in someone elses name. And i would feel quite guilty about that. My friend has been so much help though and has she quite rightly points out i am paying an exceptionally large amount of interest per month.
What would you guys do?
Hope you all enjoying the weekend.june debt totals:
