ok fair enough.... most forums don't like multiple threads on the same topic

Your topic looks to be different from Aldi's Facebook page?

Since POFA 2012, challenging in England and Wales is a little more complex and often needs tailoring to the individual's situation. That's why a thread for each individual often avoids confusion.

A colleague of mine who is a regular Aldi shopper recently got a scam letter from Parking Lie. I suggested he tried contacting Aldi via Facebook and lo and behold his scam letter has been cancelled. He's the type of bloke who will tell anyone and everyone about his Aldi "experience" so hopefully the word will be spread!

Just when you think it's gone quiet over on Aldi FB, right on cue, up pops another one. Short and sweet, but same issue, pursued by Aldi (jointly and severally, don't forget) for the heinous crime of spending too long in their store - as a NEW customer - and spending money.

Their business model never fails to astound. Here you go:
After lots of tv advertising decided to try out your store. Bought lots but also got parking fine for taking so long. Costing me treble now. How do I get the fine cancelled please

  • And here we go bumping up again! - Yet more complaints on Aldi facebook (no doubt many from regular posters here!)

Perhaps its time Aldi should be reported to the ASA and sued under trades descriptions for their slogan:

"Spend a little, live a lot" This certainly needs amending how about:

"Spend more at Aldi with Parking Eye" Of course if customers started to return goods to Aldi because of the parking charges received .... Aldi would soon kick them out.

This should always be on the first page !
  • So it should.

Now here's a very helpful suggestion from one of Aldi's super supporters:
Sarah Smith Go on Aldi, sell all your car parks to Parking Eye, then they can do what they like

Mike McDonald Supporting con artists and law breakers as usual I see Sarah. No doubt you don't object to shop lifting either.

Like the ace retort about the shop lifting. This Mike McDonald seems like a good guy - we could do with him on here!

Three cheers for Mike McDonald (:D)!
