Thanks for this OP, just ordered the black one for the bedroom. Ideal! Would be cool if it played DIVX too but 30w aint that bad for a little hifi

Lol i've just come off the phone to them too and was quoted the same prices.
Also verified that the wood one does come with the stand - ordered one at £16.44 incl vat & delivery.

I think it does play divx (mpeg4)

well i am convinced think this will go nicely in my bedroom. currently using a ps2 for a dvd player. thanks for all the advice going to get the wooden one .

Fantastic bargain,

On DIVX

divx is MPEG 4, and if it doesn't play Divx then it's prob. not going to play Xvid either.

I fail to see what MPEG4 it is actually gonna play - the websiet does state it plays ALL MPEG4

Slightly off-topic sorry but it might also be worth taking a punt on this Touch-Screen 8-in-1 Universal Remote (actually a pack of 2 of them?!). Only £3.91 (delivered, inc. vat)!

There are a few decent reviews of it on the site, assuming they're genuine.

Still cant find much on the web about them, but for £16 its worth a punt!
