    There is now. Go to:
    This page:
    It now includes the statement:
"A maximum number of two 123 Current Accounts can be held at any one time. These can be held in single or joint names.
Rates and information correct as at 2nd July 2013"
This was absent from the Google cache (on 25/06/13) of the same page with conditions dated 3rd June 2013.
Been away for the last 3 weeks and just re-checked this thread which I started. It seems the tip off from my branch manager was indeed correct after all (shame on all you Santander doubters) :rotfl:

Thanks for the updated clarification Milarky, it seems this thread can now be closed as the topic has now been confirmed. Thanks to all who contributed :T

Anything above £85K isn't guaranteed, so I am not sure how your five would work. Care to lay out the details?

As the maths is easier than elementary, I suspect you're winding a newbe up. Or do you want to clarify your point?

The 123 account doesn't work on a calendar month, rather it uses a cycle based on the date that you opened each account or monthiversary. So they pay out on the day after your monthiversary as long as you -

    a) Pay in £500
    b) Pay the £2 fee
    c) Have 2 direct debits 'set up' (you don't need to wait until they pay a bill)
    d) Have a minimum balance
Thanks, that is what she said but not so clearly. It'll help loads who rushed to beat that 'leaked' deadline. Good info on here again:Thumb:

    a. Is it a good idea to open up 2 online accounts at the same time? Or wait until one is accepted before opening next?

    b. Can I use my online bank transfer to fund the £500 in and then take it out straight away or do you have to leave it in?

    Thanks

Does the £500 have to be paid in every month via a non-Santander Account ?

I think that was covered earlier, or in another 123 thread.

Open one and when thats up and running do the 2nd one (thats how I did it). You will know by email if the account opening is successful within a day or two anyway so wont have to wait long before you can open the 2nd.

When you open the 1st one do make a note of the answers (pay amount, employment details etc) on the online application form so the answers match when you do the 2nd account.

Yes you can credit the 123 account from any online account (non-Santander Account) with £500 and you are free to move it out again.
Never let the perfume of the premium overpower the odour of the risk
