Perhaps, it's late and I cba to look for another one, but as people have pointed out above....Equality Act 2010, and as Southend points out, I'm still right!

come on now, youve made a bold statement and cant back it up. show me the actual law that states you cannot ask these questions.

Which of the following fit in with your current employees and which don't?

    Black people
    Women
    LGBT people
    Scottish people
    Single men with children
    People with elderly dependents
    Tall people
    Fat people
    Young people
    People with disabilities
    People with ginger hair.

single people with kids are difficult unless they have firm childcare, particularly during school holidays.

fat people, would depend how fat because a certain level of fitness is required.

people with disabilities, would depend on the disability. for example ove not seen many hairdressers with no arms. ps im not a hairdresser.

gingers can !!!! off though !
  • It's like the 60s, 70s, 80s...90s........00s....never happened. Still, it's hard to keep up with legislation when you are only ever filling buckets in people's back yards.

I did actually find the page Southend posted, but I wanted to find the actual sentence that stated that it was illegal to do so, even though it was an American page, the law is still the same in this country.

 you really don't get it do you?

I recommend you sign up for a recruitment and selection course ASAP. The fee will be more than offset by the saving on future legal fees and compensation spend.

I bet you would discriminate people's dietary/lifestyle choices too :( You discriminate nearly everything else....

Are you sure you're actually the boss, and not the tea boy?!
