My friend is an hour behind so thought I'd take a pic of my purchases (which include the chair!)

    Chair £2.50
The two Wii games were £1 each
    Mugs 10p each
    Depeche Mode DVD £1
    Water for Elephants DVD 50p
    Downton Abbey DVD 50p
    Miranda book 45p
    Ant & Dec book 20p
    Dry shampoo 20p
Funny dancers on the top 50p for both :rotfl:
Coaster tablemats set £3.50 (seller said they were purchased as a wedding gift but the wedding didn't happen!)

Very happy with the chair as I had a horrible old scratched, but free, one in my hallway where the picture was taken (used to sit on to put on my shoes) and I was only thinking this morning that I could do with a nice one but I wouldn't pay a lot for something I don't use often.

I was also looking at coasters and placemats in Dunelm Mill two weeks ago and couldn't find any I liked at a reasonable price so I am also happy with the price and style of these ones :)

Well done on the bingo win. Enjoy the Olly Murs concert Katie (I've never seen him live but he's been great live when I have seen footage of him at the V Festival on the TV) and he's fit ;)

Thanks Alfie. I only discovered the garage sales last year when they had them in my village and then i decided to go online and see if there were any similar ones in other villages (I have been to three this year and today was the best, the one in my village was ok and the other one was bad but it was in a posher village!)

Cheers FF! Have had a lovely day - climbed up to the monument at Langholm and nearly stood on an Adder! Don't know who got the bigger fright but I know who screamed the loudest. Then we went to Langholm, Hadrians Wall and Lanercost Priory. It was a lovely sunny day. Did loads of walking and we are now sitting drinking the wine and ready to have our meal.

We have loads of adders here - they come out and sunbathe

Have to be careful when you are doggy walking!! They keep low profile usually but they do like to bask in the sun! xxxxxx
