Hi firefly - he just sat there with the water dripping, he was speechless. He is such a tolerant chap nothing much seems to get to him which is a good job with me. I didn't laugh at the time though as they might have made him cross.

Hope everyone is well. I had a nice relaxing evening after six days of working (three of which were on my feet all day). Going to some garage sales in a nearby village tomorrow and hope they are as good or even better than last year.

I was looking forward to going to the massive fortnightly boot sale on Sunday as the weather was awful last time and there weren't many stalls and the forecast looks great this weekend but my car boot buddy is now too busy and there's no way of attending without a lift as i don't drive.

Only three days at work next week and then I am off to Brighton to stay with a friend from Thursday - Monday (I hope the weather is nice so we can relax on the beach in-between trips to the shops and bars).

Just had the one win this week from goodreads, as usual!!

Hi iluvcats - sorry you didn't win the thunderball this time. Think you can get some of those brightly coloured rubbery things (now behave yourself) to poach your eggs from the Pound Shops. They just float in a pan of water. Haven't tried them mind.

Andy is through to the final. We will miss the final but I can't usually watch anyway.

Couldn't watch "Buried" ILC. It would give me nightmares.

If I had soaked my DH I would have been soaked in return Sylvia which might have given the neighbours something to talk about.

I try to do the main dailies every day too FF but with all our breaks don't manage when we are away.

Would like to visit Brighton paadzer. Hope you have a lovely time.
