The sun finally came out here at about 2.30pm so it is lovely now and getting all the washing dry really quickly.
I got my car air freshener from Magic Freebies and the aftershave EDT win today. It is huge 125ml bottle - DH or DS2 will be getting it for their Xmas.

Hey everyone.:wave:

At the risk of sounding like a neurotic mother, we took Dex to the GP today to get his cough looked at as it is sounding very chesty and MIL was worried. All is fine and his chest is clear. Just the remnants of his cold.
The heat, however, has made his eczema flare up really badly. Trying to keep it under control with the ointment but it's not keeping it at bay at the moment.

AFM, my ear is annoying the flip out of me. It's partly blocked with the ear infection and it's niggling me something chronic!

Had beans with cheese on toast for dinner.

Nipped out for a Fri T.ball, some medicine (peanut m n m's) & a £2 Scratchcard + £5 bagged, so £1.30p up so far :eek:

Paid off my iPad. (Yeh!) Saved myself £180 accrued + ££ future interest:eek: (I'd cry my eyes out to give them that:eek:)


Just owe them for the toaster/steamer when bill comes in. Toaster used daily but steam cleaner not in mood:eek: (least got £30 off my bill)

wow its so hot,I am alright.I had a nice lunch with friends then went to Asda to do a food shop instead of Morrisons,then I saw my parents and then came home.

I am relaxing this evening,just rang my friend and my sister.

Evening everyone

First things first - there's a Times hourly tomorrow for £500 of garden vouchers - posted here. Will add the entry link once I've worked out what it is - they're generally easy to work out once you know what the prize is but this one is conforming to the formula.

Too bloomin' hot here today - has been around 28 degrees outside and well over 30 in my home office, so my concentration hasn't been fantastic. But I'm now on holiday for 2 weeks so hurrah!

Have had a great week for wins - £100 on the Kumala wines glitch and a £200 cheque from a Full House comp from last year - and a couple of books.

Hope everyone is well and surviving the heat.

Hi everyone sorry not been around. Went to town this morning and then spent this afternoon in the garden.

firefly/Alfie - have split up all my coriander and basic as they are growing like mad and there were too many in the pots. I have loads now which is as well as DD2 wants some for her Indian Star tortoises which she has had since they were tiny.
