Sorry, I'm in one of those moods! DD1 is back tomorrow and I've missed her.
I've just been given an extra hour each day for now at my lunchtime job taking a group of kiddies with complex needs to various sports. Before long I will be back to a full time job instead of casual jobs here and there!

I have to say, I love watching the hungry sailors ..... particularly like the younger one!!!! Naughty me ...... :rotfl::rotfl:

No really, reason being, he is so like me lovely son, artistic, good looking, good all rounder. Very similar!! There we are, have cleared that up then!!!! Older guy is wonderful but not sure about the huge moustache??? Seems a lovely guy however. :D

Nice bit of banker going on today, must admit I wondered about the pole as well. naughty Wingo/Alfie.

Shame about the fire Alfie. It will take a long time to restore everything. Piza and rice sounds lovely.

Are you having rice as well firefly? I got pork chops out last night but we have had the hottest day so far. Oh well, have some veg needs using as well as have been having salads.

Hope you get a new fridge sorted out quickly Katie as you can't do without one in this weather.

Glad your internet was sorted quickly Rosemac, wouldn't want you getting behind like me.

Not quite sure how everybody copes with looking after youngsters, keeping house tidy, doing the garden and keeping up to date with the comps.

Hi Everyone,

Had a lovely night away. The hotel made us feel like it was a luxury hotel as it had its own grounds to sit out in etc. It was great after breakfast this morning to sit out with our coffee and watch the Peacocks. It wasn't really posh but it does lots of weddings and corporate things. The food was good but not exceptional although there was plenty of it. Would stay again though especially in good weather and for the same price.
Really felt the heat today so didn't manage to walk that far.
Bought DHs birthday present on the way home - a Kindle as he has always wanted one. I used some of my voucher wins (He doesn't mind infact he is impressed!)
Hope everyone has had a good day. We are having pizza for dinner as we didn't do a main shop on the way home as it was so hot we didn't want to leave the car's air conditioning.
