Oh! I knew some flowers were edible but did not realise courgette flowers could be eaten?

Hungry sailors on itv had caught crabs, stuffed courgette flowers with crab meat etc, lightly battered them, cooked briefly and apparently they went down well!! :T

However, my query is ....... my courgettes are doing very well, and the flowers bloom (and beaut they are to) but last such a short time!!!!

How did they do that!!!! ?? ?? :think::question: xxxxxx

Aifie pick them before they go limp have a great recipe make spag bol stuff them and cover them with a cheese sauce and bake for 30 mins
