Typically: Whilst in the bath I missed a phone call I was expecting and whilst in the buff afterwards the meter reader called!
They had all the time beforehand!

Up at 4.30 this morn as wide awake and to hot upstairs! House is airless but outside lovely and cool at the mo so will be going out early to get some provisions and put a couple of gallons of petrol in jalopy before the day heats up to much.

31/32 degrees expected here again.

Morning all,

Got wakened by Peacocks this morning! There seem to be loads of them here. They can make some noise.

Enjoy the races walwin. We usually stay at the Hol Inn Express at Strathclyde Park when we go up that way. My grandparents used to live at Burnbank near Hamilton so lots of fond memories of there.

Hope you have a bigger win on the lotto next time ILC.

Meaning to have a walk along a lake today - DH studying OS map at the moment.
