Ooh I love crab sticks too, yummy dipped in prawn sauce and nice on a salad :) I always fancy them when I go to Whitby or Blackpool.
There is a lot of stuff floating about here Alfie coming off the trees. I'm not sure if it's the pollen causing it but it's like fur things all over!
DD has just called from Center Parcs :) I can relax now she is there!

Lol Lisa! :D I haven't got a scooby doo what it could be doing in there! Making honey maybe? :o
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Well, I am having my drink... not a G&T, exactly, but a stiff vodka with pink lemonade which I've had in the freezer for an hour. Really nice, even if it does sound a bit 'Barbie'!

Anyway, does anyone know anything about bees? I always thought they just lived in hives. But I planted a tray of seeds several weeks ago and I have snapdragons and cornflowers growing happily in it (free seeds from Shredded Wheat! - I do like my freebies...) and this bee has come along and drilled a tunnel in my seed tray. He goes in the entrance in the evening, i.e. just now, and disappears. Now, what could he be doing, a solitary bee? Anyone heard of anything like that? I hope I'm not about to grow lots and lots of bees! (:

Hi lisa - have seen many bees over the years including mason bees,
bees that take over bird houses, bees that tunnel into the ground, earth, lawns etc etc.

Am guessing your have solitary Mining bees - completely harmless and great at pollination, they just get on with life underground and will not cause harm - hope this helps. :D xxxx

Thanks very much! I have looked that up, and it certainly sounds like that is what I have got. I will leave well alone - just so long as they stay harmless and don't do a Pacific Rim on me!
