Woke up this morning very hungry after my first fast day, but wow, did I enjoy my breakfast of tea and toast!:T

This definitely makes you more aware of your food intake, which can only be a good thing.

Good morning Elite. It is very mild here today, been out in just my T shirt (and other coverings :) ) this morning, and sun is trying to come out too. Is it too much to hope for a nice day?

Bike ride this morning, just 8 miles in total but still enjoyable.

    Morning all

I am 1/2 lb lighter this morning :rotfl:

I reckon I must lose about 1lb every morning. Like clockwork. I call it 'me time':D.

    Good morning all.

Glad to hear the 5:2ers have made it through the night.

I'm really beginning to think my sunflower is a dwarf variety as it just seems to be growing out rather than up!

I managed to complete my first Fast day yesterday and it wasn't too hard to stick it out. The thought of my coffee and 2 thin biscuits before I went to bed helped !

However, I am a little disappointed and would appreciate some guidance from long term 5:2 ers as to whether this is normal. I weifg exactly the same this morning as I did yesterday ie I havn't lost an ounce inspite of sticking to 500 cals. I've also got a headache - perhaps caffeine withdrawal as I only had 1 cup of coffee instead of my usual 5. I had to get up for a widdle 4 times last night and I feel kna****** and a bit lethargic. I wasn't expecting miracles but I wasn't expecting this either.

Do you think this is just my body adjusting ?

11st2lbs down to 9st2lbs - another 5lbs gone due to alcohol abuse (head down toilet syndrome)
  • Morning all

I am another 5:2er who developed a sore head last night, from about 8pm onwards :/ I'm putting it down to not having as much sugar as I would normally have had, I don't drink much caffeine anyways, only a cup of tea a day. Must admit my belly did rumble a bit at bedtime but I just went and read my book. Looks to be 4lb off this morning but I'll take that with a pinch of salt and wont weigh again 'til Monday :) Next fast day for me is Friday.
