Just popping in before I retire for the night.
Good luck to all the 5:2 ers who are starting today. 30 minutes in and I am already hungry.
Had a good giggle at the email names, sheer genius SFSB. :rotfl:
And who is this Miss Pain that DM was talking about, Dotty!
I now have to take DD2 to the opticians tomorrow, she can't drive herself as I stood on her expensive glasses earlier. She thinks I should pay to have them repaired, lens is totally smashed. But really she should not have left them on the floor and I have a poorly foot now as it was the type of glasses with no frame at the bottom and I stood right on the glass. Think will wait and see how much repair is before I decide who will pay, am I being a bit mean?

I think she should pay TS. Glasses shouldn't be left on the floor, as you say. Or, split it between the two of you maybe?
Just back from Mr Ts. SELs on Harpic and other cleaning stuff NOT discounted as of midnight. Scanned at SS to check, still full price. That said, I will be going back in the morning to try again.
Used a couple of coffee coupons at SS- the woman took off £1.50 for each coffee coupon I had meaning I had £1 off the rest of my shop as emmi are two for £2 ATM! I'd chucked in an extra Starbucks so ended up with a snack and 3 coffees for only a quid.....result!Debt free 6th December 2014

You don't know me as well as you think, I am all for life's lessons.
All of my girls seem to think it is ok to leave expensive things on the floor, phones, ipods and laptops etc. :mad:0 -

We were sorting things around my mum's and she put them where I had been sat on the floor while she tried on mum's sunglasses. I had gone to help DD3 wash her hair as she has been bathing there while her arm is in plaster. DD2 should have put them straight on again but was distracted on her phone.
Thanks for the midnight jaunt, glad you got something from it.0 -
I don't think Mr TS slept very well in the tent last night, he is fast asleep sat on sofa and is snoring sooo loudly.
Think I will creep up the stairs now and try get to sleep before he goes up. Otherwise I will stand no chance.
Night dave and emma. And anyone else still lurking.0 -
TS I hope her prescription isn't expensive. My glasses got smashed once and cost me over £200 to get them replaced (and a 2 week wait). Also the jaunt was worth it for the Scotch eggs. Om nom nom nom nom!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0
