It has helped :) It's reminded me that I'm doing as much as is possible even if I'm struggling.

I can look back on the chemo bit now and see I did pretty well in the circumstances. I had the occasional meltdown and the boys watched some TV but DH has only had 4 days off work to accompany me for scans/appts. We thought he'd have used all his annual leave by now helping me at home but I muddled through :D

Hopefully I'll soon be able to look back on the radiotherapy bit in the same way

YES ...YES and YESSSSS :T:T:T we might even get some summer in august for you to celebrate :A:A.

MKS -was the Bruce Springsteen concert fantastic?

We are going to the concert at Coventry on Thursday. My OH, 58 years young always takes the day off so we can be there early. ie by 10am!! Last year we went to the Etihad Stadium and in the first two hours queueing, I got so wet that I ended up changing three times before I lost my sense of humour and retreated to the car to dry out.

This year I will take more healthy treats so I don't ruin all my hard work on the 5:2 earlier in the week

Absolutely fantastic. But I am a big Bruce fan.;) Got absolutely drenched before the concert so can sympathise. If you want to pm me OH's email addy, I can send him a taster. Some lucky lady got real up and personal with him for Dancing in the dark - lucky mare!! Enjoy yourselves.

Weel I thought I would tidy my stash up today as thought I was nearly out of shower gel & needed to check. By the time it was all sorted I had found 87 bottles of it. Also sorted the soft & gentle and have 48.
Fabric conditioner & washing liquid also tidied up. I have enough washing liquid for 2 years & also enough fabric conditioner for 5 years.
Does any of this go off?
    I think I have a problem.

If anyone has the sprite MOCs they are comparing at 2 for £1.50 at Morrisons.

Some of the people on here I think we do have a problem - we're not normal people are we? We're a bit obsessive and seeing those really low low prices does sometimes get us to buy more than we need, which is not money saving. (That said, I was right on the toilet rolls though - couldn't find the £2.50 Nouvelle plus extra free so settled for the usual next best priced, the A S/P version 6 jumbo, vs Sains., bought perhaps one more pack than the house really needed - getting the 8 diff. items on various Avs Sainsbob comps. over the weeks - we are running low on the previous Nouvelle now though - and, thanks to my buying another pack of the SP ones - just before A changed its size completely so it is now no longer comparable and no longer 10% off:( - we're now left with enough to last! And now not stuck with little left and stuck with the now higher prices all over.)

Get down the car boot sale and flog those S&Gs and excessive Shower Gels! (Says the person who wouldn't have the first clue as to how to do so.) Sell them for the fullest price you can get. (Still keep about 10 bottles back though, enough to last so you don't have to buy it again at excessive price.) Keep around 5 of the S&G (some would still see that as obsessive) and you may as well keep the washing liquid as only 2 years! You don't need me with my offers of comparing vs £3 fab.cond. though - so ignore me in future in that area!!

    Goodnight peeps!!:)
