Hi David, Max is playing football in the garden, I will try to take/upload a pic of him...not sure if I will manage to get it from my phone onto the iPad but will give it a go :o

    Evening

Thanks for the new thread EMMAP :T

Had a lovely day trip to the seaside with DH, my sis and the little ones :)

Was a good girl and took pack ups for us all. Meant we didn't have the usual chips, ice cream and doughnuts. MSE and better for the diet halo.gif Though at DHs request for Fathers Day we did have homemade burgers and chips for tea when we got back :p It was a slippery slope, as I washed it down with a nice cold cider (naughty as I shouldn't really :o) and he's just handed me a couple of segments of Terry's chocolate orange. I'll get back on the wagon tomorrow :D

Lovely cake Mrs S :T I haven't attempted a 2 tier cake yet but might have to for baby H and DHs bday next month - they can have a tier each :D

Hope all of the Daddies have had a good day

No idea about this diet :D but they all rely on the same thing calories input against calories burned surely.

My post was after I had read posts today of what seemed like people stocking up for tomorrow.
I may be wrong but I don't think for one minute you can eat like a pig for 5 days and drop down to 500 calories for 2 and lose weight :D, I know you are not saying that ;)
But this is not a miracle cure all

Yep David - what the guy says re 5:2 diet is that there is evidence that because you are fasting the body turns to burning up your stored body fat at a much quicker rate as it is not busy digesting food in your stomach. Yes eat normally on the other 5 days - what ever that is for you . Too much dieting on non fasting days may put your body into starvation mode - where it holds on to fat for as long as possible despite lower calorie intake rather than burning it off.

I love that if you really fancy something its easier to say well hang on in there with fast today and have some... (whatever it is) tomorrow ..... Whereas with others its like - oh can't have it full stop. Usually by the time the next day comes around you are not so bothered about the thing you were fixated on.

Whenever you feel hungry have a drink of water or tea.

But yes - you can't go mad on the other 5 days - just normal (almost a third less calories a week that way - as you said balance book - but the fat supposed to burn off quicker).

I have had the same thing on my android phone . Got over £10 worth today. Surely we can print them out on the 1st of the month though and still use them?

i have one that is blocked from 25th may. still computer says no.

i am glad it's not only me though. plus it's better that it's the phone. I was worried it was linked to IP addresses.

i did phone asda and complain as i had an innocent shop, they told me that they were aware of the problem but my giftcard hasn't arrived yet. but i can't keep phoning and i have another for 11 pound.

oh well we have to womble harder. My asda is only 5 minutes from home so i'll try tomorrow and let you know.

Glad you've had such a nice day Logie :) we also spent this morning on the beach....so that OH could try out the new fishing rod he got for Father's Day. We had pack ups for lunch as well :D

I'm sure 1 cider and a couple of segs of Terry's won't do you too much harm :D
